The Margarito rematch came to late, Cotto would have struggled to beat him of Pac never damaged that eye.
Lol, no. The biggest difference in the rematch with marg was gameplanning. Margarito couldnt land anything effective or hard. It was a shutout on the cards, plain and simple. Hell, one could argue margarito had better success with the broken orbital bone against pac.

The bottom line is, he easily beat people who he should easily beat. They were good tests. Come next saturday, we'll see just how much cotto has in the tank.

Its funny how now Cotto's wins are dowm played. By no means they were great wins. Nobody knew that Foreman leg was messed up until it gave away in the ring. Mayorga gives problems to everybody he has fought.

The majority of ppl here said that Cotto was going to fold against Margo again.

Boxing is the theater of the un-expected. The odds are that Floyd is going to win, but in a boxing match you simply don't know

Would you say that he is better trained in this fight against Floyd than when he faced Pac?

No he isn't. He's taken a lot of damage in his career. Got hit a lot (and stunned) at 140 and had grueling, tough losses to Tony and Manny. Clearly not the same fighter he was nor is he better than he was. He's solid and a name. I don't think much of his opposition since he came back from the Manny fight. I wasn't really big on Floyd fighting Miguel either and I've voiced my opinion on that many times before the fight was signed. But Floyd and Manny aren't ever going to fight, so this is what it is.

Having the right training and the right corner might make the fight more competitive than a one side beating.

In no way I'm saying that Cotto is a better fighter now. Tactical wise he is, physically he is not
