Do you think that Cotto now is better than he WAS pre-Marg/Pac

Easy,
He hires a new trainer, good trainer and everyone expects a new much improved Cotto.
Come May 5th Cotto will be the same Cotto,
One thing you can't teach though is heart and Cotto has plenty of that.Comment

The name will look good on Floyds resume and thats why hes taking the fight but its a shame floyd dont fight these guys when he should have and there was most interest in it.
Floyds basically filling his resume up, rather than take the massive risky challenging fights that he could take. I guess this is another warm up for the main couse.Comment

I don't see how he can be better.
he may have his confidence back after margarito but he's a bit older and a bit shop worn. He's certainly not shot as some would say, he's still a solid fighter but no mistake he's at the tale end of his career.Comment

I'm tired of trying......
Good post here man. I did the poll for this thread that Cotto is a better fighter but I didn't post. I am actually tired of trying to reason with these so called fans. They are bogus and don't put a lot of thought into what they are saying. Mayweather is a boxing GOD I guess and cannot be defeated. I know why he is still undefeated; it's because he does not take risks. Little does he know, on May 5th, 2012, will be cherry-picking gone BAD. When you fight for money and not legacy, eventually your luck runs out at some point. I am a fan of fighters who show a willingness to fight the very best in boxing, Floyd is not here for that but Cotto is and always have been. It could come down to level of opposition on May 5th as well. If that is the case, Cotto has already won. You get green K for posting level-headed remarks in these threads.Last edited by GOD-FR33; 04-29-2012, 06:41 PM.Comment
