Yes manny has sold big numbers, but he is 1 million clear of 2.44 mil. He and his sponsors should be able to capitalize of the increased exsposure.
Because Pacquiao is actually bowing down in taking such a bad deal. You're comparing Floyd's status before he fought Oscar with Pacquiao's status now. Pacquiao's status now is much, much bigger than when Floyd fought Oscar. All Floyd had going into that fight was being #1 P4P. He was not a big PPV seller. You have to remember that Pac is also bringing millions of PPV buys that no other opponent can. The problem is that Floyd wants all the PPV money when 50/50 or 55/45 is fair.

Margarito in 07-08 wouldn't have mattered for Floyd, it would have in 05-06 when I think he should have fought him. The only names that people say Floyd "avoided" where I really think he found a way around it was Margarito in 2005-2006. He should have taken that fight. Maybe he knew Oscar was there to fight in 2007 and didn't want to risk it, I don't know, we'd have to ask Floyd.

Floyd wanted to fight Cotto in 04-05. It was only after Floyd dumped TR that the duck campaign began. And I don't think it's any coincidence that Floyd-Cotto is made the second Cotto leaves TR, and at least he's getting a past prime-still good Cotto on his resume. And Shane was there in 2005-2006, not Floyd's fault. Floyd wasn't the one saying he had trips planned and that he may need dentures, that was Shane. Floyd still got Shane on there while Shane TKO'd Margarito, was the Top ranked WW and Top 10 P4P still, though he was past it.
Eh...Hatton had one fight at 147. A controversial decision over Luis Collazo. Floyd had 3 welters that were much greater threats: cotto, Mosley and Williams. That has to count against him when comparing him to leonard, robinson hearns, duran, hagler, etc.

Read all my responses. I've agreed with every point you made. But I still feel manny can do the same thing floyd did, take less for the opportunity to fight the best and get the exsposure. Is there somethingn wrong with that?

pac has already said he doesn't have any problem if floyd gets more money so i don't know what these idiots alre still debating about?

pac is willing to get a smaller guarantee as long as the upside is 50-50. what else do you want?

I am not going to get into what yall are discussing but explain this to me and its open for anyone to explain.

PBF offered Hatton a fight at 140. Hatton and his team turned it down saying they weren't ready for PBF yet. PBF moves to 147 has a few fights and now Hatton is ready for PBF. Why should PBF go back down to 140 for that fight when he offered at 140 already and they said no?

When you consider the level of competition the likes of Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran, Alexis Arguello, fought in the primes of their careers, MULTIPLE times they fought the Best of the Best in THEIR primes, Win, Lose, or Draw... NEVER letting "money" get in the way of what we called "Super-Fights" coming together, becoming reality, THERE IS NO COMPARISON between Floyd Mayweather, and the beforementioned LEGENDS named. Floyd Mayweather has HAND-PICKED his career to a perfect "0", undefeated record. That means NOTHING. If "lead with your chin" Arturo Gatti, Castillo, a 40 year old Shane Mosley, a 37 year old, 25lbs light Juan Manuel Marquez, and Zab Judah are the best Floyd can come up with, while calling himself the Greatest of All Time.... his whole camp on the payroll are dilusional. Now he's hoping to have caught Cotto well past his prime. He's made Mosley and Cotto wait for more than 10 years to fight him. Floyd STILL won't fight Pacquiao, because Manny still has game and is too dangerous. The ONE fight Floyd took, while his opponent was in his prime was Dela Hoya, and MOST felt Oscar won that fight. IN FACT, Floyd walked away from a $25M rematch with Dela Hoya. Floyd Mayweather is nowhere close to being considered as the Greatest of All Times, ahead of the likes of Robinson, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Arguello.... everyone of these Legends, if they could have gotten Floyd in the ring, would have dismantled Floyd.
The problem with clowns like you is that you choose which part of a career to judge an opponent on... Mosley was on a high when Floyd beat him, Gatti was the champ at 140. Judah was the champ at the time they fought... So was Baldomir... People thought he was crazy facing a taller, "stronger" undefeated Corrales... Marquez is great and fought bravely. Hatton was undefeated and was talkin *****.. Ortiz was young and confident.. You can sit here and scream HAND PICKED all you want but no matter what you say he has more wins in title fights than any current fighter except for Bernard Hopkins. LOOK THAT ***** UP!

As for Sugar Ray 1 and 2 or any of the other... HE WOULD BEAT THEM AS WELL.... BECAUSE HE IS A BETTER FIGHTER THAN THEY WERE... PEOPLE ARE TOO USED TO SAYING ONE IS BETTER THAN ANOTHER JUST CUZ THEY FOUGHT 20 YEARS AGO... I'VE SEEN THEM ALL FIGHT AND HE IS THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN.
