PBF offered Hatton a fight at 140. Hatton and his team turned it down saying they weren't ready for PBF yet. PBF moves to 147 has a few fights and now Hatton is ready for PBF. Why should PBF go back down to 140 for that fight when he offered at 140 already and they said no?
He shouldn't have. I answered your question now answer mine. Rewind to 2007. Rank these fights from hardest to easiest:

    Cotto at 147
    Paul Williams at 147
    Mosley at 147
Hatton moving up from 140 to 147

That's the point I'm making. He had plenty of competition at ww but instead brought up a jr ww for a fight. But with the type of money a hatton fight would have generated, you can't blame him i guess.

how can he have these great skillset like many all keep saying ,how can those skills be classified as greast when he has yet to fight a truly dangerous MEANIGFUL opponent???? in floyds mind his skills arent great otherwise hed of fought every fighter hes ducked theres been soo many its unreal. fighters skills arent great unless they are USED to beat somebody considered great , Floyds skills are actually limited, delahoya, castillo, and a few others proved it hes got holes in his style when attacked from the left his shoulder roll is usless he can be hit,and hurt

the truth is floyd knows himself who can beat him and he steers clear of those guys because thats floyd hes a chickenshiat fighter always will be. his top opponent remains castillo, corrales and thats irrelevant by now, now hes just a scared fleeing coward!ANY FIGHTERS SKILLS WILL LOOK OTHERWORDLY IF HES ONLY FIGHTING WASHED UP BUMS !

            Greatest Fraud ever maybe!

Ellerbe will go down as the greatest brown noser ever maybe. Frauds never fought anybody in their prime. he avoided anybody that posed a threat. How could anybody who was not functionally ******ed say what this moron says. Get yer nose out of Frauds culo and you might realize that nobody mentions Fraud in even greatest of this decade because he is not. As good as anybody might be if they never fight anybody thats a threat than they can never be considered great. It's the price of greatness. After Manny's beat down Cotto is a shot fighter, that's why Fraud wants to fight now. Biggest bull**** artist of all time....maybe? Biggest fraud of all time....he's in the running......biggest ***** who ever made a claim to all time greatness.....we have a winner

Manny refused a ****ty deal, rightfully so. So floyd counters with Cotto, a top 10-12 p4p fighter so he can get paid. Sergio had a fight signed so we give floyd the benefit of the doubt. Now lets say its Nov/Dec. Manny appears to not be interested if you go by Arum.

If floyd fights then, and manny isn't interested, if he doesn't go Sergio or Berto (if he wins) then I agree with you.

Besides the money you have to look at everything Cotto was with Top Rank not to sure how doable that was.

Mosley turned him down talking about a tooth ache and a vaction. When Mosley was ready after that PBF basically ignored him based on Mosley saying no when PBF wanted it. Both were messed up for that so that is what it is.

Yes PBF could have fought Williams but IMO back then Williams was more hype than substance to me. Which he is now but just add on that he done as a true contender. It still would have been good fight for him though. But you have to admit with the way Williams is now PBF would be getting ripped for that fight right now. I know it be haters being revisionist but it would happen.

Hatton was money move like you said.
