Shane's stamina was never that great. Not was his workrate really, not when facing someone who had skills to outbox him. He becomes confused when his opponent doesn't engage.

All you really need to beat Shane Mosley is a good jab and the patience to outbox him.

Forrest, Winky and Oscar all displayed that when he was in his prime.

Cotto and Mayweather displayed it when he was past his prime.

Styles make fights and Mayweather's style is a nightmare for Mosley.

Big Floyd fan but even I think Shane would have ********d all up in Floyd at '35.

I agree with you, I wasn't comparing those versions of Shane. But, to be fair, Floyd asn't as good as he once was in 2010 either.

I just can't see Shane doing anything to Floyd ever, aside from landing a big punch like he did in the 2010 fight. Maybe he'd have a better shot to get Floyd out of there if he lands apunch like that, but Floyd has underrated chin and has been caught flush several times by big punchers and taken their best shots. It's not like Floyd has some glass jaw or something.

Like he did Phillip Holiday? The only remotely good fighter he faced at 135?

I'd have prefered Mosley to have beaten some good fighters at 135 before assuming he beats the likes of Mayweather at 135.

Floyd tried to make it happen but Shane wanted no parts..

Too big, too strong, too fast. I don't need to see Roy Jones beating ATGs at Light Heavyweight to know he'd be a handful for all the LHW all-time greats.

Yes because Forrest Winky & Oscar (in there primes to boot), were not also bigger than Shane. Which Floyd is not.

It would've been a tougher fight for floyd but floyd wins this like 65/35. but if shane hits floyd with that round 2 punch of the fight 10 years ago, he would've had enough to finish floyd, in my opinion

Difference between Roy Jones at 175 and Mosley at 135 is Roy Jones beat good fighters at 175.

And he didn't look remotely worse the single time he fought a good fighter.

Shane was also on PED's as well most likely at 135, and I'm not trying to knock him. I like Roy Jones too, but the guy was probably on PED's a significant portion of his career, I'm just being real about it.
