knockuthe***out, i always wondered, how fmj would have fared, against a fighter like vernon forrest, who was long, rangy, and had the all the attributes of a thomas hearns, or if it was winky wright, that he had to face, instead of oscar de la hoya for cash cow status @ 154 lbs...winky wright, was undisputed @ 154, had an excellent stiff jab, and the type of defense, which allowed him to keep coming forward behind his jab...those were the fighters, that shane mosley had to encounter, when he was seeking bigger challenges...

I might give Floyd the benefit of the doubt that he would find a way against Vernon Forrest, but I'd take Winky over Floyd. I readily admit that I'm biased though, since Winky is from down where I live. Winky's defense and jab would be hell on Mayweather, and I can't see Floyd walking down someone like that, which Winky would probably make him do.

It is so funny how people have no clue about Shane Mosley, dude has been around forever and fought tons, yet people seem to have no grasp on his abilities or limitation which were put on display several times. He is probably the most misunderstood fighter of this era~

Shane had really good measurables speed and power but once you make him think he is very beatable. I know people fall in love with speed and power but those attributes mean nothing if they can not get applied properly, now Shane isn't a total idiot in the matter of applying his skills but clearly there are those above him in the mental aspect of the game, Floyd would be on that list.

Mosley would never beat Floyd, I said it before they fought and I will say it forever~

It does get quickly annoying how people claim him to be this unbeatable monster at lightweight. It's just not the truth, he was a damn, good fighter, very, very good, but people love to go overboard with him. I've always been a Shane fan, but sometimes you have to sit back and be realistic.
