I think he's about ever with gamboa abd seegio pfp wise.
Weren't you saying Froch was a skilled boxer? I can't remember.

I do agree he's one dimensional though.

Still, you said Froch would beat him if I remember correctly and Ward not only beat him but schooled him with ease.

I think Ward is most definitely not even with Gamboa.

    Martinez I agree. About even.

Ward, Martinez, Donaire I consider all around the same level a level above the rest of the list except the Top 3.

Mayweather, Marquez and Pacquaio the next level higher

The only place Sergio is overrated is on the internet. Nobody else even rates him at all because nobody in real life knows who the hell he is.

Sergio is a bum who couldn't even sell out an elementary school cafeteria. The guy is a complete joke.

I dont know about that. Zags had the best rythm for a white fighter that i can think about in recent memory, but Sergio aint no Lacey, and he too dangerous with the left hand. He would touch Zags at some point. I think fair chance zags would get sparked.

i did not for sure say he was a skilled boxer. I thought the fight would be closer for sure, and i was impressed with ward. What i said b4 the fight was that i would consider ward the best 168lber if he beat froch. Which i still think. Id love to see him fight a boxer.

Everything you said above about current pfp rankings is a completely legitimate argument. I disagree on minor things, but its all certainly an educated/defendable position.

Yeah, I think he grew up admiring Calzaghe and Jones...might have heard that during the Macklin fight or something, I forget where.

                calzaghe would embarrass martinez

even if they were the same size.

Nah. Sergio aint no lacey, has higher output than Hopkins, and is at or near his prime unlike jones was. P4P fight is a pickem. If Joe can keep his rhythm and avoid the left hand he wins a UD.. If not he gets sparked or SD'd

You guys gave Calz way too much credit for beating an old Roy Jones and Hopkins, that's where the hate comes from.

martinez would hit calzaghe so hard he would go back to wales looking like the lumpy thing on the side of rid**** bowes head.

completely diffrent class of fighters, martinez completely shits on calzaghe both in terms of ability and accomplishments. martinez gets overrated by some, hes got some flaws and holes in his game but hes still way better than calzaghe.

martinez is a great fighter who fights the best, calzaghe was a good fighter who went to great lenghts to avoid the best fighters of his time. very diffrent scenarios.
