IT happens to black players who play white sports so now its happenning right now. Big whoop.

And no, there are not a bunch of black players doing what lin is doing right now.

Name one no name who is shredding on a team with superstars like amare and melo right now?

      Oh, and hitting game winners.

Floyd is straight hatin, let dude get his shine.

You little pissant race card playin fools (especially the little **** that left me the red k callin me a b i) need to check yourself. He is not doing the same thing as other black players with lesser names. He's doibg what black dudes who are signed to 100 milly contracts are doing.

Maybe you should concern yourself with racial issues where it matters, like the educational system and job opportunitites instead of crying about whats going on with the richest half percent of people in the country. I didnt see one of you frauds in the iverson thread preachin anout how athletes need to do the right thing with their money to try and uplift their communities or maybe be better role models on fiscal responsiility.

Floyd is not right. Lin has made it fun to watch the Knicks again and the dude has skills. The back story is great andhe is a very likable guy when he gets on the mike.

Any player regarless of race that does well in the NBA gets attention.

Floyd is hating right now. Look at yesterdays game 3 point winning shot and you tell me if Lin is overhyped.

Lin has taken a lot of ppl by suprise

A player can be good and overhyped at the sametime and really Lin does fall into that category. Lin is getting his **** off right now and it has to be respected. But when you step back and look at it for what it really its only 6 games. You got people talking about what Lin did that Jordan and Iverson didn't do but love to leave out that Jordan and Iverson's first 4-5 starts were as rookies Lin's first 4-5 starts were not as a rookie. Why compare a guy that has been in and out the NBA for 2 years to some rookies who actually played in a more competitive league? Why not make it equal and get the stats for Jordan, Iverson and Lin after they had all played the same amount of games? That would give a real comparison.

Like I said I am happy for Lin would love for him to keep doing his thing. I respect what Lin is doing but I also see it for what it is outside of it just being about basketball.

I agree. I'm not into comparing cause Jordan was Jordan and Iverson was Iverson. Also different scenarios for all those players. Lin might not been doing much if not for his team mates and who knows if he can keep playing this way.

I don't put him up there with the great players but right now he is the zone and in a hot streak. Eventually others teams are going to study him and start planning in making him less effective

So what? Dude deserves some props. Ai and jordan werent on a flailing team with two superstars that were making fools of themselves until they came along.

Point is that floyds being a little bit ch hater. Dude came out of nowhere and is ballin, why does floyd care? If a black hockey player no one heard (or asian oje for that matter) joined the bruins and broke records and played like a top 20 player in the league, including making game winning goals in his 7th game, do people really think it wouldnt be huge news?

God, i wonder if it every gets so hard being such whiny bit ches.

nahh it's all about winning...the guy's a winner. if his team lost 3 out of the 6 games he played he won't get as much attention. people who are bringing up race about what's happening to him are idiots.

I never said he didn't deserve props cause he certainly does and he is getting them.
Nobody is saying that it wouldn't be or shouldn't be huge news but would it reach the levels that Lin is on right now I don't know.
