anyone think that Lin being the california player of the year his senior yr in HS and asian helped him out?

    nope, didn't even get a d1 scholarship.

i wonder if he would have gotten one if he was black or white?

stop acting like its easy for him to get all these props he's getting.

Isn't that the ironic twist though? If he was black or white, he would have taken a much easier role and eventually not have this attention because he wouldn't have been in the underdog situation.

Floyd Mayweather is guilty of being inarticulate and of being Floyd Mayweather of course. If anyone expected a weighty reply from him, I’d accuse that person of being an idiot or something much worse. His fame doesn’t entitle him to skill at communication, but that’s irrelevant when the man is under constant condemnation.

If anything I see Mayweather trying to attach himself to this amazing phenomena, and in true Floyd fashion, as usual, it doesn't come without controversy.

I heard on interview on Fox Sports Radio with the Stanford ex-coach that didn't recruit him even though the HS was across the street, his response was that Lin was listed as 6'3" 130 lbs...the weight was the main issue in why he wasn't really recruited. A 6'3" asian guy who could make the super feather limit, yeah I would just assume he would get murdered in D1 ball like all the coaches did.

What he's doing is great and I hope he keeps this train going, it has been a long time since the Knicks have been remotely relevant.
