We already explained this to you. By criticizing the media for hyping up the kid more than he is because of his race is implying it.

Cmon now man, not even the true Floyd nuthuggers are defending this, yet youre here almost alone as his first and only line of defense.

I don't agree with you. Plain and simple.

As far as defending floyd, thats a tired cliche. The comment is about Lin getting hype because he is asian. Lin is a good player, but his accomplishments are seen as otherwordly by the media because as an instituiton the media limits waht people can excel at based on their race, gender, and cultural heritage.

Because it's an interesting aspect of his story that came up after his success. If it was about his race though, they would have mentioned it way before he started playing well and it would have been the first thing out of their mouths. I didn't know he was Taiwanese-American until the third game or so he played, it was never the main story, and still isn't now.

His play and the team he is doing it for is the reason for the hype. His race is just interesting, it has nothing to do with his hype. It's not like the NBA is saying, "Gee, an Asian player coming out of no where and breaking records is just what our fanbase wants! Let's focus on the fact he's Asian!" They aren't.

all ppl had to do was laugh at Floyd's comments and tell him good luck with TRYING to promote his upcoming fight....but NOOOOOOO!!....make it bigger than a promotional stunt...make it into a racial attack and redirect his shot at the MEDIA to a shot at Lin...smh.....and like I said a while ago...no African American fighter is allowed to show racial pride like the others are allowed to...its that simple....thats how I see it....and thats how they see it as well because the ONLY dudes who talk what they want are ALREADY paid....B.Hop and Floyd be going in like curfew on any and everybody lol

What's the guarantee that more people would fork over money to see him fight now being that he criticized the attention that Lin is recieving? It may turn people off resulting in less purchased PPV's. Who knows? He already lost his At&T endoresment deal because of his idiotic behavior.
