No, it's a statistical fact. Simple as that. Say what you want about the validity of it, Jeremy Lin has done something in his first five starts that no one else has since the NBA and ABA merged. Combine that with the team he is playing for, that's the source of the hype, and him being Asian has very little to do with that hype.

Yeah ok go with that if you want. They can make up a stat that shows Kwame Brown was not a bust as a #1 pick as well. Just cause they say it doesn't make it valid.
