again, you talk about numbers like they are a bad thing. this is a big country with a very diverse population.
pardon me for having the most large athletic men in the world playing sports over here. i was unaware that's something that should be held against us.

god forbid we have a lot of talented athletes who are huge

    dwindled slightly?

this fat **** and the other fat **** (chambers) we **** out are both in the top ten. you want them? you can have them

and the two most talented prospects in the division are two americans who were cut from basketball and football

Why do we have so many Eastern European boxers now as opposed to 20 or 30 years ago? Could it be the fall of communism has allowed fighters to be more than amateurs trained to win Olympic medals to make their nations look good? Were there potential heavyweight champions in the 60s, 70s, and 80s who never reached the top because, struggling to survive under brutal communist dictatorships, they had nary a thought for extracurricular activity?

      Hhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

You can play the "what if" game until you're blue in the face, but ultimately you have to deal with reality.

I happen to think that if more Australian Aboriginals took up track and field they would usurp many American champions (look at Cathy Freeman: no American runner has ever run faster than her 400m time). It doesn't matter though, because it is nothing but speculation. There is no point honouring imaginary champions when we have champions who have earned their titles.

Yanks are not the only ones in the world that lose potential fighters to other sports.

You're just the only ones that cry about it.
                True words.

Can you imagine if Britain started saying, they would dominate the middle distance running like they did in the 80s but sports such as football has taking their best prospects away.

This argument always reminds me, of the guy who say, "if I would have trained everyday, ate the right things, started when I was 13 and had some of the best coaches I could have been champ".

But you didn't and thats what matters and what ever the reasons are they are nothing but excuses anyone can make them.
