again, that supports my argument, not yours.
new zealand never dominated the division. american HW did.
no country other than the states can make the argument because they never dominated the division before losing out on all of their large athletic talent

i love the term yanks. cant get enough of it. keep using it.
you know that we whipped your butts in the revolution?

    danke meinen grobvaters

    do you speak german?
    no?!
    you're welcome

    that means "Thank my grandfathers"

if it werent for american men bailing you chaps out of WWII you'd be speaking german.

my grandfathers both bailed you boys out of wwII
    both of them

    danke meinen grovbaters

(keep in mind that i am only kidding, and that i do enjoy your posts, especially when david haye is barking for one of the klitschkos to rough him up. i dont want to offend you. but the "fat yanks" thing gets me every time. you know that the UK literally a baby step behind the states in terms of obesity, right?
That's because either no country was big enough to dominate or because they just weren't a boxing nation. The fact that New Zealand or anywhere else didn't "dominate" doesn't mean they didn't lose boxers to other sports.

Americans may have lost potential fighters to NFL, NBA but the hilarious thing is that you cry about it even though your country is still much bigger than most other nations who have also lost boxers to other sports. You think you're the only ones!

And as for the rest, you're really just supporting the theory that Fat Yanks are obnoxious, insulated, morons.

    "We saved you in WWII"

Really? You actually played that card already?

This bloke wrote "full blast" in bold and underlined it. You know hes coming with some weak ***** when he has to do that.

I just didn't expect it to be as weak as "we saved you in World War II"

Where did that even come from? Because I called you "yanks".

You gonna cry next time, brah?

it's basically the only card i've got

outside of sports you will not find me defending anything american.
not much anyway. we have some good food and some very good looking women of all shapes sizes and colors, but most of that is imported anyway

you dont speak german though, right?

again, i love the term yanks. it gets my american blood pumping. i also get a huge kick out of these threads, because they always turn into international mudslinging, even though the americans arent making a nationalistic argument (in not saying americans are inherently superior HW boxers, but instead saying that they have dominated the division historically)

i thought the german part was pretty damn clever, actually.

i think i'd feel a debt of gratitude were my country of origin in a similar situation (needing a full scale bail out)

what does that say about the talent pool in rugby?
the american talent pool has a tenure in the division, where they were dominant.

Where did basketball come from? A commonwealth of ours, Canada.

              Who ruled you? Us.

We made the queensbury rules. Thank you.

We made the world wide web.

Where did American football come from?

              Where did baseball come from?

              No need to thank me.

Oh ok so you've "dominated" on sheer numbers and now that those numbers have dwindled slightly, you cant even compete anymore?

Anyway being a boxer isn't about how big, fast or strong you are, it's if you want to be a boxer or not. If that want is not there, or even the need, then it is not happening.

It's a lot more fun to play team sports and to have team mates to train with that can be like brothers.

Now try doing 5 am runs, training and working you ass off. Try sparring and getting beats. Try doing something where you piss blood, have cuts, bruises and even get brain damage. Yes in other sports you can get injuries, but in boxing you need to be fit for 12 rounds.

The type of breaks in NFL and the NBA allow people to rest. Team sports mean some days you can have a bad game, or your team carries you.

In boxing, you have a bad second, and it could be over. Your career could be over because it's you who runs the show, while in team sports if you choke or are shot, you can carry on to live another day, which is not always the case in boxing.
