Possibly, but for someone who obviously killed himself to make the weight, you don't want to go in there against a strong, durable, well conditioned body puncher in Castillo, Castillo would have taken advantage of that, especially if Mosley doesn't get him out of there early.

Clearly, definitely not the case. Mosley and Marquez are unbeaten at the weight, not even close to being beating. Marquez does need a couple for fights at the division though.
Chirs John is unbeaten at Featherweight.

Chris John>>>>>>>>> Pep, Saddler, Armstrong, Attell, Saldivar, Sanchez, Chocolate, Arguello, Pedroza etc.

Does it matter that his resume is a joke and in every way inferior to those Featherweights?

You bet it doesn't! Title defences is all that matters!

You didn't say; "Mosley at Lightweight is one of the best I have ever seen" ?

You didn't say that in your post?

how the hell would that justify placing him above Mayweather? he would move up in the rankings but he would not rank above him.

            Well, no not really.

Mike Tyson cleaned out his Divison.

Shane Mosley barely fought any ranked fighters in his Divison.

Beating more than 2 or 3 ranked fighters might help.

            I definitely would.
That would be because you're a clueless idiot.

So he destroyed them, I'm surprise he didn't decapitate them honestly. Admittingly, I'm no good with lists. I know enough to say Mosley's resume at LW is shit.

Molsey loved facing fighters like Castillo, come forward body punchers, that pressure.

Castillo had more of a problems making weight than Mosley.

Floyd is an ATG. Cotto beats Pac certifies him as being a HOF'er. But, he will not be an ATG. So Floyd will rank higher. Floyd would have better resume and accomplishments.

His Divison was terrible. He could have cleaned it out with his eyes closed.

Even then, he still decided to only fight 2 or 3 ranked fighters at the weight.

Sure, he destroyed everyone he faced at Lightweight. Who the **** wouldn't?

Kevin Mitchell would probably have dominated those fighters in similar fashion.
