No way would he be P4P#1. IMO, he would not take Floyd's spot at #1 if he beat Pac.

On a sidenote, I'd like to point out the common opponent these two had in Shane Mosley. Miguel Cotto fought the MUCH better version of Mosley. The guy got old during the Mayweather fight, it was pretty damn clear.

Mosley, would also say Marquez's reign at lightweight is much more impressive, even Juan Diaz's done better at lightweight.

Remember I not saying Cotto ranks above him now, but if he beats Pacquiao.

Two things, first, this not about p4p, it about who will have the better resume.

second, they share more than one common opponent.

someone must have just started watching boxing. So many people on here dont know anything about what Floyd did 10 plus years ago in the lower divisions

He will, that is a definite.

You get into the HOF for your contribution to boxing, and Miguel Cotto has been one of the stars of this generation.

Corley, Sosa, Mosley who else? I know Cotto beat two of them more impressively but does that mean anything considering Floyd already ran through them?

You asked for Top 5, he provided that, at least admit you were wrong. Asking for a Top 5 fighter in a certain division isn't much really.
He was responding to a earlier comment of mine saying that the fighters Floyd fought at superfeather would not make the top 5 fighters that have fought at that weight since 2000s.

I think I was right in my original assessment.
