They wanted March 13th, Mayweather wanted May 1st. Schaefer and Arum sat down, negotiated and agreed on March 13th. Thats how a negotiation works as far as Im aware.

Mayweather has gone in with a date and a venue set in stone without speaking to the supposed other side. Which leads me to believe that other side was never going to be Pacquaio.

He set up this May 5th date a long time ago, probably with a GBP fighter (probably Mexican fighter) in mind. Then ran to the media screaming Pacquiao's name so that it'd give the impression he did all he could to make that fight so the public wouldn't be pissed when he announced whoever he is going to fight.

Neither team really wants this. Floyd has just one-upped Arum in the media on this occasion IMO.

they both are pretty much linked to each other and both use each other directly & indirectly to sell the fight. At least im honest and unbiased enough to see it & not pretend that its only a one way street.
