Exactly. Back then it was March 13(Pac's date) or May(Floyd's date). Due to Pac's political career, Floyd accepted March 13th. Today it's May 5th(Floyd's date) Late May/June (Arum's date). But instead of Pac agreeing, it's been a bunch of excuses.

And it was not a set term. They did not book a date or a venue. It was a proposed date.

Not the same. Sorry! You're out of tries!

That is exactly what happened, but..... who cares ?

Apparently, Manny "really wants the fight"... apparently, Manny is "willing to take less money"... apparently, Manny thinks that "making the fight is more important than money"... apparently, Manny "fights for the fans"... well, "apparently" Manny is absolutely full-of-it.

FACT: The biggest grossing fight in boxing history was held on May 5th

FACT: The biggest grossing fight in boxing history was held at the MGM Grand

FACT: The biggest grossing fight in boxing history included Floyd Mayweather

FACT: There is PLENTY of money on the table, Manny will make more in that 1 fight than he has made during his entire career, even if it is held in the MGM ShoeBox

FACT: The stadium excuse is just the latest in a long line or excuses.....

Cuts, dates, investors, guarantee's, Arum forgetting that Al Haymon represents Mayweather..... gimme a fkn break, how could anyone not see that this stadium rubbish is just the latest line of pac-bull**** to come from Bob Arum?

        Ridiculous.

It was a set term because they were set on it and wouldn't budge. Not proposed because it wasn't up for debate.

No evidence to back up your claim. Mayweather's side were given the chance to object to the date if they so wished at the NEGOTIATIONS which took place. No date/venue had been booked prior to those discussions. Not the same. Point stands. Thanks for playing.

They did object. And were told take it or leave it. Kinda like now.

*** me, do you mean that Mayweather accepted the date because he genuinely wanted that fight, so there is absolutely NO REASON to refuse?

                Keyword..... genuinely.

I agree. Mayweather turned down a better date to accept March 13th because he genuinely wanted that fight, Pacquiao refused a better date because he genuinely does not.

The stadium is like the 5th excuse that Team Pacquiao used, come on

No, Team Mayweather conceded, because they genuinely wanted the fight.

It's become quite apparent that Bob Arum is the only one holding this up. He needs to get the **** out of boxing.
