As far as I remember, Mayweather had no objection to the date even before Shaefer and Arum met.

Im done here. Lets just agree to disagree, I cant believe i even got dragged into this *****, let alone going all the way back to March 2010.

Unfortunately, what remains fact is that they entered negotiation with a date and refused to bend. Kinda like now.

Whether they booked or not, they entered negotiations with a set date and didn't budge. Kinda like now.

            Good point.

Plus, *** the stadium, that is just the latest excuse.

In order to enter into a serious discussion about the stadium, somebody would first need to explain to me why the other 5 excuses were used, let alone required?

Cuts, dates, investors, guarantee's, Bob Arum forgetting that Al Haymon represents Mayweather..... I cant be bothered working through all of that **** either..... and forgetting about the 5 lame excuses that failed and focusing entirely on that stadium rubbish, is exactly what Bob Arum wants right now, huh?

Back in May-July 2010 immediately prior to Bob Arum's " deadline " scam, the one he used to obtain a date and funding for the Margarito fight, Arum forwarded GBP a ****ty offer that, according to Schaefer, was even worse (in terms of OSDT's) than the deal that Mayweather had already refused back in 2009.

That " offer " was then followed by no meetings, no phone calls, no deals, no contracts, no discussions..... and NO offer of negotiation..... Arum slapped a 2-week deadline on an e-mail that GBP never even took seriously, and he refused to answer the phone.

I am curious as to how you feel about the infamous " second " negotiation?
Good point! There was no real negotiation. HBO told Arum they would not even consider carrying Manny vs Margs if he didn't try to make the fight w/ Floyd happen. Also Roger was still waiting on his trial to start & was possibly facing jail time so Arum knew Floyd wouldn't accept at the time anyway so he got lucky. But yeah, 1 of his own TR employees admitted the proposal would ****ty & wasnt likely to be accepted by Floyd.

Having something booked or not is pretty relevant. It was a proposed date and they didn't need to budge because Mayweather was already agreeable to it. Not really anything like now where Mayweather has gone and booked a date/venue without any consultation with the other side.

But never mind. Last word = you win

You said you never enter negotiations with a set date. They had a set date and wouldn't and didn't budge.
