i don't think you guys realize how good fo an athlete vitali is. . . how excellent he is at "reading and reacting" in the ring. . . the intelligence. . . louis was a just a flat nosed, ugly pug! no game plan adjustments. . . no ability to adapt. . .
This guy either refuses to listen to anything people say or he is just trolling. No point in even debating with him; hes clueless.

Joe Louis did have one of the fastest hands ever. Hes not in people's top 2 heavyweights by accident. His hand speed and combinations were excellent. I have seen all of the footage and read many articles from the time as well; they all agree.

sure louis is a better conventional boxer-puncher. . . but that plays into vitali's hands all the more. . . it would be hilarious trying to see louis even make solid contact with vitali.
What are you taking about!??!?! Vitali IS NOT A COUNTER PUNCHER!!! Look at the tapes! Also Vitali Loops allot of his straight punches on top of not setting She shoots first and tries to dictate range. Watch from the Solis Fight he was getting caught right out of the gates early while he was reaching in. He has pop to his punches but no sap! They are more pushing shots. Also his head doesn't move, at all! he doesn't slip or drift with his shot to get his head out of the way. when he goes back his head comes straight up. BAD BAD MISTAKE! Joe always kept his balance and set his shots up with his legs by shuffling in not hopping or lunging! Watch the tapes! Guys like WLAD, VITALI, LENNOX would be hard pressed to be top champions back in the day! (Consistent champs) 15 rounds anyone? That jab hold **** would be exposed against a guy who would wait for them to fall in and attack on angles!

All i can say is stop looking at colour and start looking at strategy and skill. When skill is at a premium Anything can be defeated regardless of size relatively speaking.

when im watching a fight im not just watching the punches being thrown and landed. . im watching chavez's footwork as he weaves his way inside, perfectly positioning himself to set up the left hook to the body. . . im watching mayweather catch punches with his elbows as he punishes fighters for getting predicable with the jab. . . im watching sugar ray leonard cleverly hide that right hand behind the shoulder, as he distracts the opponent with blinding jabs. . . im watching vitali klitschko's eyes being WIDE OPEN as he times his opponents punches, carefully gauging the optimal distance to stay, knowing EXACTLY where and when to move his head and upper body to ake the opponent miss by MILLIMETERS. . .

vitali would demolish joe louis . . .
have you seen those 50 or so jabs he shoots out when is his left right hand? LEWIS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THAT BRO! back in the day they would left him get into a habit except they would wait for him to go backwards and DONE! Conney had reach and far superior mobility and hand speed that Vitali could only dream of! eventually him going into the late rounds it's over if he's not caught early! This is a terrible terrible post i think it only shows how little people actually know about boxing....

vitali isn't any one style - he reads and reacts accordingly. . . he's not a counter-puncher when he needs to be? watch the arreola and adamek fights. . . vitali throws straight shots and looping shots. . . vitali DOES HAVE head movement. . . he leans back once he gauges his range. . . you're basing him off one round in the solis fight? he was making his adjustments. . .

COLOR?! so now im a racist. . . LOL! ok. . . im done with you. . . it's easy to tell you just want to sound like you're "in the know" by saying the klitschko's would be journeyman contenders in past fistic eras. . . I can tell you don't know what you're talking about.

Joe Louis was about 180 right... maybe with all the steroid fed animals he would closer to Klitschko weight. factor in more advanced trainers and money motivation it might be close... "maybe if etc..... Joe would have a chance"

I find it hilarious that the only way a Klitschko will ever obtain a win over a GREAT fighter is in a make believe fight or a fantasy scenario.

                      Joe Louis by death.

I see Steelhammer has voted with his 2 alts, Soviet and Masterful.
