You've Never heard of the Black murderers row. But the touted Sugar Ray Robinson Avoided 2 guys from that troop! Honestly if your a fan of boxing Look back bro Look back at where Manny Steward and Eddie Futch Learned their craft! The used to hold buckets of the true greats the true strategists! boxing isn't just one current decade of the best, boxing has a history and until you look back and see who was great for what they did then you will never understand how much of a drop off your looking at now. FACT! not hate bro i loooove this sport but you have to realize how deep it is. I personally think Jerry Cooney if he was in his prime today would be running ****! fa SHO!
Jerry Quarry is another guy that would be running shi.t at Heavyweight.

He beat Earnie Shavers AND Ron Lyle...2 of the most brutal punchers EVER.

That trumps the entire Klitschko generation going back 1000 years.

yeah man we're talking about an era of boxing where guys can change it up. and very few fighters do that today. They load up with a plan they they have been working for years and show that in a fight with little to no variation from it. It's sad quite frankly it looks like boxing is regressing when it should be the opposite.

Vitali is a tough opponent for literally anybody. It would be a hard fight for Louis I think. Actually, I think both guys have a difficult style for eachother.

People really have to look close to pinpoint what Joe Louis was about though. We all know about him as a puncher, but most new fans don't see the how well he uses his footwork, his underrated defens, how he reads his opponents movements etc. I think Louis had the package to keep tagging Klitschko while Vitali tries to bounce around him with active jabs and straight punches. It's a matter of who is broken down first. I'd favor Louis with a late TKO win.

Who would you compare his stylistically to? He's super stiff bro. No fighter fights like him. If Lewis would get KTFO by Joe imagine what he would do to a guy who can't move out of the way of a right hand...

Good thing Vitali is so damn tall and has a sturdy chin then.

Leverage disadvantage + granite jaw = not getting KO'd

another one who thinks it all come down to punching lol! this is classic.

How does one set up their shots? this is boxing 101. and now imagine a guy who can time your jab by moving and throwing a right hand lol! You think these current divisions are cream of the crop eh?
