Pacquiao cleared out the welterweight division.. a division he's not naturally built for. I would say that's pretty impressive.

Ortiz - Ill give Floyd this one. . . I was impressed with him taking this fight. yet still brutally stopped by maidana and drew with Peterson. . . Coming off a WAR with Berto in which more damage was sustained.

Clottey - NEVER been "beat up"; rehydrates to 170 pounds. NEVER been in a one-sided fight and arguably beat Cotto. . .

Hatton - UNDEFEATED at 140 pounds - his natural weight he dominated at his entire career.

Cotto - BEAT MOSLEY. . . Lost to Margarito in controversial fashion. . . Weighted in at 146 against Clottey. . . 3rd best WW behind Floyd and Manny.

Margarito - gave margarito an extra 3 pounds to what he was normally accustomed to. Rehydrated to 20 pounds heavier than Pac. Still an extremely dangerous opponent for anybody.

We are comparing Mayweather and Pacquiao and you are talking about Cottos left overs ?

Nonsense post + MARQUEZ NEVER REALLY LOST TO PACQUIAO , THE FIRST FIGHT WAS A DRAW AND THE SECOND FIGHT WAS A SPLIT DECISION , THE 2 FIGHTS WERE CONTROVERSIAL .

Lol Pacquiao never fought Cotto , Margarito and De La Hoya at their natural weights , he also wanted to fight Shane Mosley at a Catchweight before Mayweather beat him .

I ALSO FORGOT TO SAY THAT PACQUIAO WILL FIGHT A 38 YEAR OLD LIGHTWEIGHT .

lol at 10 years ago. even if thats true, it does not matter coz its the topic at hand , aint it? wins againts guys comming off losses? now , floyd has more of that, now what.
Okay so you wanna talk about Pacquiao coming up in his career?
Why did he duck a rematch with both Torrecampo and Singsurat, after both them knocked him out?

How come he got a gift draw against a guy who had 9 losses at the time?
How come he fought Jamili, after Jamili got knocked out by Morales?

De La Hoya = De La Hoya weight drained

              Agapito Sánchez = Draw

Singsurat = Pacquiao lost by knock out

Torrecampo = Pacquiao lost by knock out

Erik Morales at his real weight = Pacquiao lost

              Clottey = Nobody

Hatton = Lost his undefeated record against Mayweather

Mosley = Mosley was 39 years old

Marquez III = Fighting a 38 YEAR OLD LIGHTWEIGHT

+ Pacquiao beat Mayweather’s left overs when they were at their worst moments :

Ricky Hatton : Lost his undefeated record

De La Hoya : Weight drained (so Pacquiao never fought De La Hoya at his natural weight) + After a decison victory against Stevie Forbes

Shane Mosley : After a draw with Sergio Mora + 39 years old

              Now Mayweather vs Those Guys
              :

              Ricky hatton : Undefeated

De La Hoya : Knocked Ricardo Mayorga out in the 6th round + Mayweather moved up in weight to fight De La Hoya at his natural weight

Shane Mosley : Knocked Antonio Margarito out in the 9th round

Yes, AND when Floyd fought Mosley, Shane was a prime chicken.
Marquez was a true prime big WW.

There was no controversy in Floyd's two fights against Castillo.Even Lederman thought Floyd won the first fight by 5 points.

Clottey is a nobody but Gatti, Sharmba Mitchell, Baldomir, Bruseless, Ortiz and his poor record are elite A+ fighters.

It's kinda sad that Pacquiao is wasting his prime years on these meaningless fights. It has now been two years for crying out loud !!

Do you guys agree or do you think that Manny's resume did improve since the Cotto fight?
Then except for Floyd, who would you have had Manny fight to improve his legacy since then at 147?

                      Bradley, Khan, Ortiz, Jones, Marquez?
