They where WW Champs "WHEN" Mayweather fought them. Not to mention Hatton won a strap at WW too and was THE JWW Champion coming off a KO.

Actually dating all the way back to De La Hoya, "WHEN" Mayweather stepped in the ring, every one of the fighters outside of Ortiz, where coming off KO/TKO's. Can't say that about Pac now can ya? Actually his "selections" where lucky if they even won a fight in the past 2 years "WHEN" Pac selected to fight them. Let alone one of the bums being KO'ed and then banned.

Ask yourself, when's the last time Pac fought a Champion?

Erik Morales Rematches = Morales weight drained

Singsurat = Pacquiao lost by knock out

Torrecampo = Pacquiao lost by knock out

Erik Morales at his real weight = Pacquiao lost

        Clottey = Nobody

+ Pacquiao beat Mayweather’s left overs when they were at their worst moments :

Ricky Hatton : Lost his undefeated record

De La Hoya : Weight drained (so Pacquiao never fought De La Hoya at his natural weight) + After a decison victory against Stevie Forbes

Shane Mosley : After a draw with Sergio Mora + 39 years old

        Now Mayweather vs Those Guys
        :

        Ricky hatton : Undefeated

De La Hoya : Knocked Ricardo Mayorga out in the 6th round + Mayweather moved up in weight to fight De La Hoya at his natural weight

Shane Mosley : Knocked Antonio Margarito out in the 9th round

I agree to a certain extent that Pacquiao's resume hasn't improved since 09.

His fight against Clottey wasn't an amazing win but it was certainly a decent win for Pacquiao. Clottey was a top 5 welterweight and only one fight before did he arguably beat Cotto ( had the fight not been in MSG maybe the result could of been different and in Clottey's favor.)

His fight against Margarito did add another world title in a different weight class to Pacquiao's achivements but Margarito wasn't really a worthy opponent considering what he had done at the time. He was dominated and stopped for the first time in his career against Mosley, was banned due to illegal wraps and then came back and won a decision against some journeymen and that somehow got him a title shot against Pacquiao.

His fight against Mosley was a waste of time imo considering Mosley was 0-1-1 in his last two fights ( one being a lopsided decision loss to Floyd and the other being a draw against Sergio Mora) but what does work in Pacquiao's favor is the fact Mosley was still a top rated welterweight.

His next fight against Marquez also does nothing for his resume. Marquez does not belong at welterweight. simple as that.

Compare Pacquiao's resume since 2009 to Khans and Manny wins bigtime. Khans biggest win was already a victim of Cotto and Clottey.

How many WW Champions has Mayweather fought?

At the end of the day, this is what counts not some name that will sell PPVs.

Case in point, all these fighters who are beating Jones Jr now days... Doesn't mean they beat the fighter of the decade, they beat a fighter well past his best coming off KO losses or just being completely dominated and embarrassed. Outside of being a legend like Jones, this should remind you of Clottey, Margarito and Mosley who where **** "WHEN" Pac hand selected to fight them.

Answer the 2 questions above and you will see the clear picture of if Pac's resume improved since 2009.

The question is about as easy as asking anyone if Roy Jones Jr resume has improved since 2004.

It's kinda sad that Pacquiao is wasting his prime years on these meaningless fights. It has now been two years for crying out loud !!

Do you guys agree or do you think that Manny's resume did improve since the Cotto fight?
What a joke of a thread? Pac cant keep fighting better and better people than Cotto, because once youve beaten the best which Cotto was just about, there is not much more you can do or places you can go! Beating Clottey and Margarito is keeping him busy and hes cleaning out the division like a vaccuum hoover, unlike Floyd.

Pacs wasting his PRIME YEARS, again is this some kind of joke comment? Since DLH who has FLoyd fought then, and isnt taking early retirement the highest form of wasting prime years? So put things into perspective is that asking too much of some people?
