Read you own posts, your argument is that since Floyd did it, it's okay for Pacquiao too.

Why are you talking about fights ten years ago, when Floyd was coming up?
Pacquiao is now a global star and recognized by some as P4P number one, yet he only fights guys coming off losses.

Floyd fights the best, Manny fights the leftovers. The evidence is clearly there.

And, LOL @ instead of actually debating Wazaa people bring up Khan and McCloskey smh.

to be fair, wazaa drew a comparison of 'closkey to clottey. . .

legacy isn't determined until long after a fighter retires. . . legacy is something that isn't really completely set in stone until years after a fighter has hung 'em up. . . What if CLottey goes on to beat some good fighters?

and LOL @ the one guy saying Clottey/Cotto wasn't close! HAHAHAHAH. . . and NO! a "loss is not a loss" - there are varying degrees. . . Only people like you who check boxrec for their information believe that. . .

There was no reason to bring Marquez upto 144, Pac can easily make 140.
To all those who are dissing Pac's resume, the question should be, who has a better resume at WW, Pac or Floyd? Better yet, who has the best resume at WW today?

what? no my argument is since you criticise pac for fighting guys coming off losses, you should do the same to floyd since he has more wins like that.

It's kinda sad that Pacquiao is wasting his prime years on these meaningless fights. It has now been two years for crying out loud !!

Do you guys agree or do you think that Manny's resume did improve since the Cotto fight?
You have to look at the time it happened...

They said Cotto would knock him out....most people even on here said they cant imagine him going 12 against cotto...n he stopped him

He was still a small welterweight n took on JMM n marg....

Mosley didnt even wanna trade with him....1 thing u dont lose is your knock out power...n mosley didnt wana get close...

                  kinda sums up pac

Mosley would stil beat any other challange besides floyd at WW....so i dont see why any1 can even complain

Marquez - already beaten by pac once (really twice) - never fought at WW before and did not properly put the weight on. . . Floyd FAILS TO MAKE WEIGHT, and REFUSES to reveal weight on fight night.

Mosley - Cotto's leftovers. . . Still the same Shane Mosley - 38 years old

Ortiz - Ill give Floyd this one. . . I was impressed with him taking this fight. yet still brutally stopped by maidana and drew with Peterson. . . Coming off a WAR with Berto in which more damage was sustained.

Clottey - NEVER been "beat up"; rehydrates to 170 pounds. NEVER been in a one-sided fight and arguably beat Cotto. . .

Hatton - UNDEFEATED at 140 pounds - his natural weight he dominated at his entire career.

Cotto - BEAT MOSLEY. . . Lost to Margarito in controversial fashion. . . Weighted in at 146 against Clottey. . . 3rd best WW behind Floyd and Manny.

Margarito - gave margarito an extra 3 pounds to what he was normally accustomed to. Rehydrated to 20 pounds heavier than Pac. Still an extremely dangerous opponent for anybody.
