    I agree, Wazaa.

I consider Cotto to be the last fight which enhanced his legacy.

Since then the rest of his fights have been almost worthless.

JMM is also past his prime and is fighting at a weight he shouldn't be at.

Clottey to Pacquiao is what McCloskey is to Khan. A top 10 fighter only on paper. Just like a win over McCloskey for Khan so does a win over Clottey for Pacquiao not do much for either resume.
WHO THE **** HAS MCCLOSKEY BEAT?

            GTFO

Clottey stopped Judah and was competitive against Cotto. He was top 5. Terrible comparison.

Clottey is Maidana level. Mosley is past prime but he was still TOP 5 at WW. He only lost to Mayweather pryor to fighting Pacquiao. what do you not get?

The Clottey win is very underrated because of Clottey's non-performance that night. Yeah, he didn't fight back, making the win look worse... but he was a top WW at the time, fought a very close fight with Cotto and had a fairly decent overall record. Margarito was also a dangerous fight because of the size difference. Decent wins, but not great ones. They won't define Pac's legacy but they certainly don't hurt it..

Honestly had RJJ beaten Ruiz and stayed there to beat Tyson and Holyfield (both of whom were past prime).

Would his legacy not have been greater today?

That is essentially what Pacquiao has done. People wouldn't be looking at Holyfield and Tyson being over prime....... people would be marvelling at the fact that SMALL ASS RJJ is destroying legit heavyweight contenders.

                Get your minds right.

Floyd isn't fighting better fighters since 2009, and those last wins are supposed to be his icing on the cake, jus to show you how Floyd's record is a joke.

I mean, Manny fought an old over the hill Mosley??So did Floyd, Floyd fought Ortiz, who to me isn't better than Clottey.

omg !! Plz forgive me for having an opinion.

I said that Clottey meant as much to Pacquiao's resume as McCloskey meant to Khan's resume. Obviously Pacquiao's resume is much better than Khan's but relatively speaking, comparing the Clottey win over Pacquiao's previous wins, it doesn't mean much.

But that's just how I see things.

I mean Pacquiao-Margarito was one helluva fight and I'm really exicited about Pacquiao-JMM as well but legacy wise... meh
