Are you implying that if your man is fouled multiple times, whether or not his opponent is cautioned or penalized by the referee, that it would give him carte blanche to foul him back. In the gyms it can run like that but in a professional prize ring it will not and does not work that way. You should know that...........Rockin'
You are right, and it's about what you can get away with.

If Holyfield is sneaky & clever enough to hit his opponent with his elbow, while his arm is still in motion from missing the punch, and cleverly headbutting (not like Ortiz) where the human eye almost misses it. It's different from deliberately taking a bite out of someone's ear, and spitting out for everyone to see.

Hopkins did his thing quietly, with the ref already being informed about his art of Dirty fouling, didn't see it. Chad can either complain every 10 seconds, or do some clever fouling himself, OR do blatantly foul for the ref and everyone to see, and give Bernard the opportunity to bail out without a loss.

It's only illegal if you get caught.

good job, and your point that you are trying to make in this debate is what? I fought, you fought and John fought. It's a difference of opinion where knowing how the rules work means nothing............Rockin'

          • where is there a rule that says when one fighter hops on top of another, the other fighter has to sit there and lose energy waiting for the ref or, knowing hopkins, wait to bit held and hit. he stood up and shrugged him off. hopkins shoulda had his feet under him. dirty fighter got what was coming to him.

CLEARLY are not qualified....u wont agree because I say it BUT IT IS FACT...

Not that you care but i dont see rockin getting personal or "hating" on you at all. he disagrees with your opinion and is giving logical arguments and point to do so. You are getting personal. seems like sour g****s, and if the same thing happened to dawson you would be singing a different tune.

from the perspective of it happening in a gym I couldn't agree more. But in a sanctioned title fight a fighter does not get a free pass to foul if he was previously or even at that moment being fouled. It's the referees job to decide retribution for a foul, not a fighter.............Rockin'

What difference does it make. Is there some kind of rule saying a fighter can't come in with a pre existing injury?

                    • honestly i doubt this, if you were to be planning something like this you dont make it that obvious and simple to debunk
