Imean, the TEST to become a ref is like taking a "test" to become a professional fighter...its like the amateur coach test the USABoxing gives us...it is ridiculous, passing it means nothing...I know more than a few refs and judges who are official but. I stepped in. Amatuer for 7 years pro on and off for 9 years but had just 7 fights. I did what I did. I fought enough to be able to more than adequetly call a fight. As a matter of fact Emmanuel Stewart complemented me after finishing shows that he was involved in. I'll find the rules of the ABC and let you know of those that are relavent.

I respect the hell out of both of you. Just want to let that be known.

Now, I must agree, Hopkins is known for his stunts and using his knowledge to his advantage to get over on certain situations.

This situation has nobody to blame, but I wouldn't put it past Hopkins to have sustained an injury prior and found an easy way out to keep his title. Personally I want to see Dawson get at Pascal next and if/when he wins, make a Hopkins-Dawson II for the title.

I am not insinuating it, I am SAYING IT is POSSIBLE and icing his shoulder makes it so..I dont recall anyone icing someone's shoulders after any first round, especially a highly uneventful one...it comes off to you as sour g****s and thats fine, but for you to apparently be UPSET with me over it is kind of odd thats all...you dont know me, its just a message board, u have no financial or personal stake in the fighters, it just a MESSAGE BOARD..for you - a guy on a message board- to somehow say that I as the trainer of the fighter involved shouldnt bring up a su****ion based on knowledge I've acquired over thirty years in the game is odd, too...unless you think we should only deal from now on on this baord is 1000 pct. factual observations and points...dont speculate on anything, only post FACTS...thats your goal for me???.

Didn't you know Iceman? This forum consists of thousands of guys with no experience of boxing other than watching from their armchair....of course they know more than a guy with 49 pro fights and a trainers licence!!

Some of you clowns really do make me laugh, you talk like your opinions are fact, then jump all over a guy who was actually in the opposite corner and discredit his opinion because it doesn't match yours.

Perhaps, trying to discredit his opinion has something to do with CONFLICT OF INTEREST, of it all.

I'm not going to discredit it however. It's possible B-Hop was already injured a bit, and bailed and the first opportunity. But we will never know. Facts are, the fall did happen, and it wasn't caused by a punch. It was only the second round, therefore no Technical Points Decision win possible, yet alone a TKO.

Naturally, the injury is going to get tied to the fall during the fight. And even if someone tries to insinuate that he was already injured before the fight, it's not gonna make a difference on the Technicality of a fighter falling, saying that he can't continue, and having medical proof of said injury. Either way you cut it, a No Contest.

You can trash Hopkins in the court of public opinion, but a Champion he still is, even if he has to fight on ESPN, in front of 1000 people from now on.

lol keyboard warrior rockn. gtfo. your example of chad elbowing someone coming in with scar tissue is a rediculous comparison. bhop fought dirty, putting all his weight on chad. all chad did was stand up and shrug him off. regardless of what the replay looks like, if you understand anything about human anatomy and physics, you would agree that a pugilist should never be so off balance that a tiny shoulder nudge sends you flying. I dont think hop deserved a tko loss and his record but he damn sure doesnt deserve the lhw belt. Been watching Dawson since he fought on lacy robin reid undercard in st. pete. He will get his belt back believe that.
