I do believe that Hopkins took the easy way out of this fight and acted out his injury a little worse than it was.

But I was disappointed by how much Dawson wanted to 'escape' with this victory and had absolutely no interest in fighting Bernard again.

All I'm seeing here is the usual dirty Hops tactics. Threw punch, noticed he overshot, lunged forward and was looking to throw his weight on Dawson/clinch etc.

BHOP fought with an injured shoulder against echols i think.
he is 46 years old.
Ofcourse most boxing fans will give him a pass. not saying he faked it. It is what it is a no contest.

Anybody remember when Danny Williams dislocated his shoulder early in a fight against Mark Potter? He fought the remainder of the fight with one arm, and ended up knocking out his opponent with an uppercut. That's heart.

The one thing I found a bit su****ious was how Hopkins seemed to have been grimacing in pain even before his body even completely landed on the ground. Now from experience I know it takes a few seconds for the pain to set in and realize what's wrong. I broke my foot once before and didnt realize it until I tried to get back up and put my weight on it.
