Made Marquez blow up 12 pounds of fat and then cheated hims on the scales by 2 pounds. Everyone doesn't talk about this fight because it was regarded as non legit by the entire boxing world.
Ok so I will never agree with Mayweather coming in over weight, it was unprofessional and cast a shadow over a brilliant performance, there simply is no excuse for that.
However, I was sitting in bed last night watching HBO on demand and I decided to rewatch "Marquez's Greatest Hits" for probably the 100th time. Guys please go watch this because it is literally hilarious to watch Pac go life and death with Marquez 2 times, lose more somewhere between 15-18 rounds out of 24, and win by a single point between the two fights and then...u watch Floyd literally toy with Marquez, make him look like a complete amateur, and completely embarass one of the best fighters of our time. Please watch it guys it is literally hilarious watching Pac fight Marquez and then Floyd fight him haha.
I gotta say, Mayweather is incredible. He just does whatever he wants, when he wants and he makes all the rules in the fight. He completely breaks down his opponent physically and mentally..
Nobody is faster than him physically and mentally, and the things he pulls off in that ring are legendary.
Honestly I think he can beat Sergio and Pac.
You can admire Floyd skills in his other fights but should not in this fight where he made Marquez bloats up to 12 lbs then still he came 2 lbs overweight not to mention the 10-15 lbs advantage he has during the fight.
As much as I love Floyd as a fighter I do have to admit it is massively frustrating sometimes when he gives ****** reasons to discredit his wins. Dropping the extra 2 pounds in this scenario would have been so easy and would have had absolutely no impact on the fight yet he decided not to do it and it really impacted what was a fantastic performance. Just like in the Ortiz fight, he could have just as easily stopped Ortiz in the 8th or 9th round and gotten way less criticism then he did for how that fight ended. It's unfortunate because ****** s**t like this really does take away from how brilliant he is in the ring.

Even if he had come in those two pounds lighter, he'd still be fighting a lightweight at welterweight, and would deserve the same criticism he is getting. Just like Pacquiao is being criticized for the same thing. The fight was crap, no matter how much Marquez wanted it, just like it's crap for Pacquiao to do it, no matter how much Marquez wanted it.
Say what you like about the weight. Mayweather still made a 3 weight multi world champion look like nothing. Amazing display after 2 years(?) out of the ring.

Ehh I mean I don't disagree with you completely. Pretty thorough dismantling of one of the best fighters of our time though. I don't give Floyd massive credit for the win but it was an impressive performance. As long as you don't give Pac credit for the upcoming fight them I have no issues with the opinion on Mayweather vs Marquez.
Disagree with this part. There plenty of active fighters including Manny Pacquiao that are much more physically faster than Floyd, but it's his timing[mental] that makes his speed looks so fluid and consistent even when he fought Judah(who was the fastest Boxer Floyd has ever fought, and even faster than Floyd himself.)
Pacquiao is NOT faster than Mayweather. Never has been. Floyd isn't the fastest puncher in boxing like Roy Jones, Zab Judah, Meldrick Taylor ... but he is definitely faster than Pacquiao who has never displayed overly fast hand speed. Pacquiao's speed comes from his darting in and out, not from hand speed.
If anyone has the mental strength to get through that, it is Manny Pacquiao.
The question is, whose fight do they face? Can Pacquiao try and get Mayweather to fight, or can Mayweather get Pacquiao to box? It's all about imposing your will.
I go 55-45 Pacquiao in this fight, primarily due to his power punches.
When has Pacquiao EVER forced anyone to fight his fight?
Clottey thwarted everything Pacquiao had simply by holding his hands up.
Mosley thwarted everything Pacquiao had simply by boxing from the outside and showing the world that Pacquiao cannot use basic boxing skills to cut off a ring.
Again, when has Pacquiao forced ANYONE to fight his fight?
Pacquiao does well against men who are willing to stand and trade.
THAT'S IT.
His entire record is full of plodders. Pacquiao has never fought ANYONE who was able to consistently hit without being hit for 12 rounds. That's what gave rise to the accusation that says Pacquiao won't go near a slick fighter.
Joshua Clottey was supposed to be the slick fighter he fought to silence critics behind that accusation. Except Clottey is hardly a slick fighter. He's Black, but he's about as slick as sandpaper.
Pacquiao avoided the Zab Judah's, the Demarcus Corley's, the Tim Bradley's, the Zashir Raheem's.
So if we were to go by what you said, and then look at who has historically controlled every fight he's been in, then we know who the winner is ... according to you way of thinking.
