DeMarco has some real pop. If I was Morales I would have preferred to fight Linares because I would have the upper hand in power against him. Against DeMarco he is tall rangy, tons of power, and probably grew up watching you fight.

I also agree that I would have let Linares get dropped, however I can see why the Ref stopped it he was taking way too much damage. There was tons of deep red blood everywhere.

And you have to love the guy to think he was not hurt he was about to fall forward when the referi stepped in. Demarco would have finished him in the 12th either way a championship fight is not 6 rounds it's 12 rounds long.

I saw Linares get hit with shots. Tried to trade shots. Then went defensive. Got hit with some shots. Blocked some shots. Evaded some shots. Well, even the fight was ended as Linares was evading to the right. Dodging a punch.

The blood is what was bad about the fight. That's why it got stopped. It looked bad because it was all over the face.

Yet, whatever fight everyone else was watching and perhaps even you. They act like it was a beatdown. "Oh. It looked like Cotto-Margarito". Now that is biased hating. You have to hate Linares to really believe that was Cotto-Margarito.

Linares is not over-rated at all. The dude is phenomenal. He basically dominated every round but the 6th, and kept demarco to single digit connects.

He didn't get broken down, worn down, outskilled out willed, he suffered bad luck, busted his nose, the cut pacman give him in training opened up, and his face was gushing blood. Last round, he couldn't see ****, so he stood and traded, and it ended up bad.

i think he did get worn down,he had a busted face because he was getting hit,thats how,i think we need to give credit,linares doesn't seem to me like a guy who can take punches that well and he doesn't hit that hard either,atleast not like i used to see him a couple of years ago

Dear god Flicker you are a good poster and all but give it a rest Linares fought his balls off and just could not take anymore punishment.He seemed glad it was over and i cannot blame him guy fought like a warrior with them cuts just could not keep going he will without a doubt coem again but tonight is Demarcos night good stoppage
