Cong**** to Demarco! I thought Demarco was showing Linares too much respect by fighting tentatively. He was having his best moments when he stepped up the pressure and exchanged with him. I had a feeling it would turn out this way. Linares fought a bum in his last fight and was getting tagged at times as his technique went out the window once he started tiring. The hype on him was ridiculous. Kellerman was comparing him to Duran for chrissakes...

What does this say about how good Valero was? This does convince me the dude was the real deal even though Linares is a little bit overrated.

Linares is not over-rated at all. The dude is phenomenal. He basically dominated every round but the 6th, and kept demarco to single digit connects.

He didn't get broken down, worn down, outskilled out willed, he suffered bad luck, busted his nose, the cut pacman give him in training opened up, and his face was gushing blood. Last round, he couldn't see ****, so he stood and traded, and it ended up bad.

Wow what a fight.As one of the few on here who always believed in Demarco was a top level fighter its a great night but Jorge showed alot of skill he is pretty ****ing fast and accurate and has a tonne off balls i still like him to be a p4p star one day but he will have to overcome another dissapointment.Duke is being bias as **** saying Mitchell would beat Demarco not going to say Demarco destroys Mitchell or ntohing but he would beat him on points or by late stoppage
