Linares being a sore loser and saying a headbutt opened the cut on his nose. He was making excuses when he lost to Salgado as well. What a ***n crybaby

Cuts like that on his nose don't get opened by punches. I personally think it was clearly a headbutt cut, which is why they need to have replay in boxing. Linares career may be down the drain because of a ref's decision based on pure conjecture. He had no idea if there was a punch there.

Cuts like that, caused by a punch, is nearly unheard of in boxing. A horizontal massive split across the entire bridge of his nose? Caused by a punch?

Guaranteed that in a replay they will find the initial contact that caused the nose cut was from a headbutt. Just doesn't happen like that. The eye cut, maybe, the nose, absolutely not from a punch.

What does this say about how good Valero was? This does convince me the dude was the real deal even though Linares is a little bit overrated.

Linares won every round except that last one. He must have lost a liter of blood, you could see the stuff dripping like from a faucet. Just weakened him right down, even Demarco was getting weak in that round.

Linares need to learn to keep his left hand up.

Fight stopped too quick, Linares wasnt hurt, silly ref. Never liked DeMarco, always felt he's very beatable, he's just huge for the weight class and benefits from that tremendously.

What a fun fight. I think linares has been overrated for a long time. He's just not a smart fighter, but he's definitely a talented one i'd watch again.

I will be rewatching to see this phony punch. First thing when i saw that cut i knew it was a head or an elbow that did it. I cant believe no announcee challenged the ruling or their replay guys didnt find the punch that allegedly cut the bridge of his nose.
