Good fight DeMarco started slow and Linares was landing some nice combos but once Tony found his rythm he was able to bust up Linares pretty good. Id like to see a rematch or DeMarco vs Rios or Acosta that would be cool.

If that fight isn't ended right there. Linares goes back to the corner, relatively live. He wasn't hurt really bad in that round, about to get knocked out, none of that. If the Ref allows that round to continue. Linares blocks some, takes some, evades some. Goes back to the corner, gets cleaned up. Then boxes his way to a W.

Overrating DeMarco heavily in this thread. He wasn't even winning, nor did he put Linares out on his feet. He won by ref thinking the blood was bad.

Agreed. The cuts are the only thing that let Demarco in the fight. Obviously the cut on his nose was his fault, he shouldn't have gotten hit with the punch, but it was just bad luck that he ended up with such a bad cut from it.

He was hurt bad, his legs had gone & his face was a complete trainwreck & he was taking massive shots. Good stoppage but hats off to Linares he is a superb fighter.

Eh, I love Linares, but that was a good stoppage. You could see the lights go out for a second every time he was getting caught because he couldn't see the punches coming.

Can't you just enjoy the fight? I have a feeling that you complain about every fight you watch.

If Linares thought the fight was stopped too early he would've complained. He didn't, he just went to his corner and slumped on the stool from exhaustion.
