Me too. I think the fight would have be completely different without the cut. In hindsight, they probably should have post ponned the fight and given the cut above the eye time to heal.

I feel bad for Linares, he fought really well, his face cant sustain punishment at all, damn this reminded me of the Margarito vs Cotto fight. Linares had the speed and pretty combos, and DeMarco had all the wide slow ass shots but was always able to put pressure on Linares and those little shots did wonders on Linares' face...

Im happy for DeMarco he deserved it!.. Linares is talented but a bit ****y tonight. HBO was really up his ass!.. Rios would have killed him by the 8th. I doubt hes moving to 140 lol

I was thinking the same thing. Crazy how that fight had as much blood as tonights fight.. Only difference is Demarco landed an ELBOW to the forehead of Valero which caused all the blood.. and still Edwin fought on like nothing and PUNISHED Demarco...
