beating Khan dont mean nothing..not an ATG or even a Hall of Famer. beating Sergio in 160 lbs will boost his ranking but beating Pac would probably rank him inside top 15..

I always found something wrong with that since Cotto was seen as the best fighter at 147 and had an excellent following. Floyd would have beat him, but it still looks like a duck to me.

Id have him him top 20 for sure if he could beat Pac and Sergio at 160. If he beats Pac he wont be higher than Pac, but if he beats Sergio at 160, he could be mentioned alongside Pac.
How good Sergio really is, is in question so that holds back Floyds ranking a bit. Plus i have to deduct points away from floyd for the help Cortez has given him against Hatton and Ortiz. Plus bloating up JMM and beating up old guy SSM.
If you deduct points away from Floyd, Floyd hasnt got that much going for him.Last edited by hugh grant; 10-06-2011, 11:14 AM.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Clottey is the modern day Joe Walcott and Charley Burley. Joshua "most avoided man in history' Clottey might be the most ducked fighter in history.

I know when you beat an opponent matters more then the name value of the opponent.
but what I'm saying is I'd rather Floyd lose a bout or two if he had fought and defeated Cotto and Margarito when they were in their primes .... that would've enhanced his legacy more than a 0.
He has protected that 0 and IMO it has hurt him more with his legacy than it has benefited him.
Ofcourse when casual fans see the 0 they think it's a big deal and they're the ones that are paying him
How the hell would taking a loss or two from lets be honest good fighters but not great boost his legacy?
It's ****in hilarious people saying he might be alongside Pac after beating him, Martinez and Khan.. no he would be ahead of him clearly. They are already fairly close.. a win over an ATG, Lineal Champ and u Top up and coming superstar wouldn't put him above.. give me a break lolLast edited by SLIMY RAT; 10-06-2011, 08:15 AM.
