It don't matter what Floyd does, these haters will never appreciate his greatness because they are so blinded with hate. Hopefully Arum hasn't many years left so we'll witness Floyd destroy Pac, hear their excuses about how Floyd waited until Pac was shot & how the test drained him for about a week & they'll fcukoff dragging boxing down with their racist fuelled B/S

.........Mayweather fighting & beating an ATG Middleweight like Trinidad would've been more impressive than a win against Martinez...

        am I right?

you're not necessarily a hater because you don't think floyd would be top10 of ALL TIME. Do you guys realize whos on a top10 list?

People with a lot better wins than pacquiao, martinez and corrales.

When Floyd fought Shane he was arguably coming off the biggest win of his career against a guy many haters said Floyd had ducked. (A 9th round K.O win & still the only guy to stop him)

Yet Manny fought Shane 18 months after Floyd had smashed him to bits & took a draw against Sergio Mora, lol!

Sorry but all roads don't end with Pacquiao friend. I understand that you want Floyd to fight Manny, as do I but could you spread the onus for the fight not happening toward Manny as well? I don't get why people are so gullible as to think everything falls on Mayweather. Really?!? Why? I need a logical explanation for these phenomena, so far it seems to be limited to the irrational shores of the casual boxing fan. Meh, dunno, maybe some folks are so single minded they can't discriminate, fact check, or think critically.

Nobody has even won 6 before because we all know Oscar didn't beat Strum for that 6th weight division champ. Oscar was only given the decision to get the green light on the Hopkins fight.

Floyd at the moment is already probably top 30 ATG.

If you add in wins over:

                    Manny Pacquiao

ATG, past his prime but still very formidable.. Let's not forget Mayweather is the older of the two, so Mayweather earns a lot of "ATG ranking points" for beating Pacman.

                    Sergio Martinez
                    at 154lbs

Not a future hall-of-famer but currently a top-3 P4P fighter in his prime. Sergio is still in his prime, he's peaked late but is definitely prime if you look at his body of work over the last 2 years compared to the rest of his career.

Plus Sergio is the bigger man by some margin so it would be a very impressive win for Floyd, another great name on his resume.

                    Amir Khan
                    at 147

Young boxer in his prime. Could very well win titles in 3 or 4 divisions (140, 147, 154, 160???) due to his size and young age and should become a future hall-of-famer if he lives up to his potential.

                    Another great win for Floyd.

                    Andre Berto

Like I said, I think this fight will happen early next year.. Berto is not great, but Floyd will add another prime, non-weight drained, legit, 2-time welterweight title-holder to his resume. This win would be further enhanced if Berto went on to avenge his defeat to Ortiz and win more titles, perhaps even at 154.

                    Cotto-Margarito winner

I'm not sure who will win but Cotto is another sure-fire future Hall-of-famer and even you have to say he's past his prime. Cotto is one of the best 154 pound fighters around. Floyd vs. Cotto is a case of better late than never. Another good name on his resume.

Those wins would propel Floyd in to the top-10.

he would still be behind Calzaghe because he flat out ducked Cotto, Marg and Clottey to fight big show and do dancing with the stars
