I agree with most of your points but you seems to forget how Ortiz is limited and easy to hit.He has no experience.
I don't underestimate Ortiz' experience because his amateur pedigree is very deep.

Would you say that Amir Khan and Ortiz have about the same experience level?

Ever since Ortiz lost to Maidana, he has improved many aspects of his game. He is hungry and every bit as naturally talented as Floyd. He is relatively new, so he has a lot to prove, but he can definitely has what it takes to KO Floyd.

I see it this way, an overconfident fighter versus a hungry younger & bigger fighter... this is something Floyd has never faced.

I'm with you OP, Ortiz by KO.

        "That boy good!"

I don't know about the one who fought Shane. Gino's right. I remember when that right hand whistled past him in the first and thinking, "Floyd's in trouble tonight." Sure enough, he got decked with that punch in the second. At some point, Ortiz will land his money punch. We'll see what happens from there.

I think they're pretty much the same fighter.

I expect that same fighter on Saturday.

Yeah but Shane can punch pretty good Even that version, and it's a fight at the end of the day some are going to get through. I had a feeling Mosley may hurt him early as Floyd adjusts.

I expect the same from Victor, he may buzz him but he'll just hold and survive as usual.

Is this like Oscar by Ko in 4?

The southpaw factor is the only curiosity here. Floyd can't defend the left hook with his usual shoulder rolling stance.

Other than that, like Oscar and JMM, Ortiz's footwork looks like he has **** in his pants. The hopping back and forth, arched back/ass sticking out, stance of theirs is what gets them. They can't handle natural Boxers who keep turning them.

That's what's going to be Ortiz's downfall. Unless Floyd decides to fight the entire fight like he did Judah/Mitchell, coming forward with a high guard, I don't think that strategy will work on a much bigger Ortiz.

What trouble points do you see for Floyd?

I see Ortiz catching him with a few left hands in the first 4 rounds.

Floyd possibly being buzzed or even hurt badly.

After that, doesn't lose a round.

But doesn't he risk losing if he's hurt bad?

If Mayweather's hurt equally as bad as he was against Shane then I absolutely expect him to survive the onslaught.

I find it extremely unlikely that Ortiz stops Mayweather.

And that's his sole chance of winning. IMO.

I hear you. if Floyd wins he should fight Martinez and call it a day. Hey, a guy can dream.
