How does 2 years of solid work overrule the other 14 years Mayweather's resume/career was considered better than Pac's?

If anyone would've compared Pac to Mayweather from 1996-2008, they would've been laughed at. But because Pac has solid wins from 2009-2011, now all of a sudden Pac has the greater career? Come on people!
    uhmm no.

pac was already being talked as a hall of fame fighter as early as when he beat barrera.

2 years of good work? so barrera, morales, marquez, ledwaba don't count

        jesus
It's only swept under the rug by people who didn't follow the sport prior to 07'

Jro its not that at all. Nothing I have posted is unreasonable. Manny gets credit for everything he has achieved from me. Where I raise questions, (catchweights and talent level of opponents) they are legitimate.

Ok so because you're being talked about as a HOF'er that means you have the better resume.

Mayweather was already being discussed as an HOF'er before Pac fought Morales/Barrera.

Here's the test right here. Check any credible boxing website before 2009 and let's see how the general public compared Mayweather-Pac.

Going off your and others postings in this thread, Pac has been competing with Mayweather for the P4P #1 spot before 2009? Come on you guys are killing me.

Whatever you say Mak. You're right, we (fans) have been debating who has the best resume between Mayweather and Pac before 2009. Hell, you're right, we've been debating this topic for the last 7-10 years. You're right.

How about you find any credible website where this "debate" took place before the Hatton-Pac fight happened.

I'm not knocking Pac's career, but just because he reinvents himself in the last 2 years doesn't give him the right to overrule or surpass the other 14 years he wasn't competing with Mayweather.

the question isn't who's more popular
