Manny Pacquiao has the better resume no doubt.

Floyd is a better boxer than Pacquiao.

AND Floyd will beat Pacquiao should they ever fight.

And NO, I'm not a Floyd fan, matter fact, I quite dislike the guy.

If Morales wasn't shot. He sure had a funny way of showing it.

Easy. By not being relevant or in title contention for the remainder of his post KO of Pacquiao career.

Never said Pacquiao wasn't great, or an ATG. He's not as great as Mayweather. And it should be clear anybody who is able to look a little bit deeper into both of their careers without bias.

It's not just the losses, it's a variety of factors. Mayweather has just been more dominant and CONSISTANT over a longer stretch of time. And without the losses to shit tier opposition and shot fighters.
Where do you rank Floyd in the ATG ranking list...Around where? It seems like you would rank him ahead of Arguello. And, I don't see how in hell he could be rank over Arguello at all in the ATG list.

Oh boy wasted??Dude makes millions each time he fights, and everyone of his fights have been an event(with exceptions to Baldy)what he did was give himself long life in boxing by not fighting all the time...Mays best days maybe still in front of him,I don't here anybody saying B-Hop wasted any part of his career..And he was just as inactive as Floyd, you know why you don't hear that??Because Boxing is a brutal sport one that might require you to take breaks here and there...

Not really Jro. During manny's recent run , The TOP Rank guys get overrated because "floyd didn't fight them" and The non top rank guys were already exsposed by floyd. I think we can agree on David DIaz.

The 3rd fight against Morales (as many expect the 3rd JMM fight will be) was against an aged veteran who was a shell of himself. I don't think that Morales was the same as the 1st 2 fights.

No question about Ledwaba, Barrera and some other wins. And no question about how dominant Manny has looked on his recent run.

Who got overrated because "Floyd didn't fight them"?

And, if we talking about the guys that were "exposed" by Floyd. Then those same guys were "exposed" prior to Floyd beating them. So that means what exactly?

But, again I'm not questioning the Morales. However, Morales was not only competitive against Diaz afterwards at a higher weight, but was competitive just this year alone against Maidana at even a higher weight. Not saying that Morales wasn't shot. But, one can say that people think he wasn't still at top because of how dominant Pac was against him. Which is the excuse you're using for Floyd.

Exactly. Look at the Clottey win which people laugh off.

Clottey beat Judah, arguably went virtually even over 24 rounds with Cotto and Margarito. And then he gets completely shut out by Pacquiao... Pacquiao shut Clottey out just like Floyd shuts opponents out, but it's not as obvious when he does it because of his style and the fact he likes going for the KO

I think both Pacquiao and Mayweather have underrated wins because of how easy they can make it look sometimes

Please do not EVER bring up the Clottey fight in a logical argument again, My Dear God you have to be kidding me.

IMO, the top rank four, like paul williams, get overrated because floyd never fought them

It means hatton, ODH, and Mosley wins would be more crdible if those fighters hadn't have fought floyd 1st because floyd diminished what was left of their "aura" for lack of a better word.

I think your point about Morales is fair, but I think his performance speaks more about maybe us over evaluating Maidana, particulalrly against a boxer. The point is floyd showed these fighters were not at an elite level prior to MAnny fighting them. I think JMM fits into this as well.
