BTW, Roy fought from 1988 or 1989 - 2004 undeafeated. If his chin was suspect, don't you think James Toney, Hopkins, McCallum, Virgil Hill or someone else would've tested his chin? Or were they all bums?

IMO, Roy fought well past what he should have. After he won the HVWT title, that should've been it.

Also, SRR has also been KO'd if I'm not mistaken? It goes both ways.
He didn't get KOed. He was going for the LHW title against Joey Maxim (an excellent fighter in his own right) and beating the stuffing out of him. But the arena was 104 degrees and Robinson was old. He ran out of gas in the 13th round and couldn't continue. It's worth pointing out that the ref was hospitalized afterward.

I truly believe Roy's was better. In the pocket, Roy had more speed and power. I mean 1 shot KO power. I truly believe that.

I already agreed with this point.

Still don't understand how that would make Roy a better fighter. Sugar isn't as thick bodied as Roy. Roy wasn't a real middleweight in my eyes and at least to me seemed more of a SMW/LHW. Ray topped out at middleweight and started his career at lightweight. It be like saying Durans best weight was at LMW or MW.

Stop overrating Roy Jones and his average resume. That's why no one has him even as a top 30 fighter of all time despite having top 10-15 talent.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you can't overrate someone who can't be overrated lol. Roy Jones did things in the ring that's never been done before. Who puts both hands behind their back, dodges 2 punches, then lands a Knockdown blow?

If it wasn't for this day and ages use of technology, a prime Roy would go down in history like Leonitis or achilles or some other greek folk character.

I'm not nuthuggin, just telling it like it is.

lol, that's the thing. SRR had unquestionably the greater career, that doesn't mean he would win in a fight against RJJ.

When ranking ATGs. Everyone goes by the career. It doesn't mean #5 ATG would beat #10 ATG. It just means he had a more impressive career.

Sure people would rank Joe Louis higher on an ATG list than George Foreman but I wouldn't favor Louis to beat Foreman.

No. He wasn't. He was in his prime at welterweight. All his losses were at middleweight or higher. And of his 19 losses, 14 of them came in the 60's, when he was way past shot. He lost five times at middleweight (often fighting as a welter or a jmw) and avenged every one. When people say he's the GOAT, it's not for nothing. He was the truth bro.

Who plays a full game of semi-pro basketball then turns around and wins the title in the same night.

I'm pretty sure it was for the title, although I could be wrong, but I know he won. Who does that?

Who goes 15 years while being undefeated with no long layoff, vacation, or retirement?

I'll research it, but I think his first loss came during his prime.

Also, I'm not doubting his credentials. I just think RJJ was a better fighter.
