TBH Peterson didn't do all the much in the late rounds either it's just Ortiz did less people are acting like Peterson dominated late in the fight

The fight was close, ish, but clear.

Had there been no KD's as opposed to 2 KD's then yeah, Peterson would have won the fight, but, unfortunately for Lamont, there was.

And to suffer 2 KD's in a 10 Round fight, you better hope you sweep the rest of the rounds if you want to win the fight. And Peterson certainly did not.
The first 5 rds was close even RJJ was saying this, then on top of everything else bro he was out Jabbed(which Berto did not do,and what racks up points)and once again imo was landing more solid shots..This was a close fight but for people to say robbery come on..When I heard a draw I felt wow I got this fight right, that was my card the night of the fight..I re watch it the next day I had Peterson by 1..Then as you advised I watch it again and I had Peterson by two rds meaning the last time I watch it really I only gave Ortiz two rds..He did not get out of the way of the jab..And besides rds 1 and 3 he was controlled by Peterson imo..

        I thought Ortiz WON...BARELY!

you take away the two Knock Downs and I thought he lost that fight, he really didn't do anything AFTER THE TWO KNOCK DOWNS and Peterson started catching him with some BIG COUNTER PUNCHES

Ortiz won. I was shocked they gave Peterson a draw.

It's not a tough fight to score. Lamont had he's moments but not enough to take the fight.

Dude, you act like Peterson was imposing his will on Ortiz or something? Give me a break. Btw, the fact that Ortiz was trying to get a weight advantage is irrelevant: he was draining himself. Secondly, I'm sick of hearing about the Maidana fight. Ortiz was beating his ass most of that fight. Ortiz made the mistake of not using his superior boxing ability and took too many shots. He could easily have beaten Maidana. Also, Maidana has never been close to as threatened since then. Tell you what, Ortiz may not have had a title, but he sure as well was capable of hurting ANYONE at 140. No question about it.

The first 5 rounds were close, yes. Plus TWO KD's for Ortiz.

You can't honestly believe that Peterson only lost Rounds 1 and 3, you just can't.

Peterson probably won more rounds than Ortiz but Ortiz KD'd him twice, man. It's very difficult to win a 10 Round fight being KD'd twice.

You believe Peterson won, I strongly disagree, I can't see how you can believe that.

But, you do. So we are going to have to agree to disagree.

But, you are one of few who believe Peterson won that fight.

And the fight wasn't a robbery, and the fight was close, but quite clear for Ortiz.

peterson did impose his will on ortiz for the most part, in fact he was walking ortiz down most of the fight while ortiz rode around the ring on his bicycle, that being said it was a draw, ortiz won rds 1,3,4, and 10 with peterson pretty clearly winning the rest, 6-4 peterson minus 2 kd's equals a draw, worst performance i've ever seen from ortiz though, he looked leaps and bounds better in the berto fight

I'm gonna have to re-watch the fight. Regardless, Ortiz didn't show up that night. If he had, Peterson would have been ****ed.
