How many knockdowns where there? 3, right? No way Peterson did enough to make up for that in the second half, even though he finished strong.

typical part time boxing fan.....watch a fight and only look at what the more "popular" boxer is doing. Hence going with the more "popular" boxer as the winner. If Peterson had the fan base as Ortiz I say they would have given the decision (in the fans eyes) to Peterson

          My 2 cents

The knockdowns give Ortiz the edge.

If you score it round by round.

Even though Lamont closed strong and would have won a 12 round fight.

I scored it for Victor by 1 or 2 points.

TBH this thread won't help this will become a popularity contest in which Peterson loses..But here's a fact,Peterson was the only one to win a scorecard in the fight..Saying a lot being the fact dude got drop twice in the fight...I had Peterson winning this fight, and he showed once again Ortiz is not as good as advertised...

If I remember correctly, I had it a draw or Ortiz by a point I can't remember. But Orriz did nothing towards the end. Like Devon-Matthysse, if it were 12 rounds, there would be a different outcome. Peterson would have won for sure.

I honestly don't understand why the hell this was a 10 round fight to begin with...That was ridiculous.

I dont think Peterson would lose in a popularity contest due to the fact that people hate Floyd and want to discredit his new opponent. Therefore if anything I think Ortiz would lose that contest as of now

Peterson stole some rounds, but really did not win that fight.
