I don't think so,Ortiz has a pretty good following not only that but he is more like because of the promotion that's been around him for yrs..Peterson does not have a chance in this pole..But it makes no difference either way,Ortiz was outboxed damn the two KD's..Rd for Rd Peterson won this fight...

Ortiz won the fight quite clearly in my book and I struggle to see how you could believe otherwise.

Nope. Ortiz was bored with fight and just didn't seem to want it that badly. He could have finished Peterson if he had paced himself a little more intelligently. He seemed to run out of gas a little. But now that he is at 147 I don't see it happening. Ortiz should have been a welterweight a long time ago. Ortiz is a better fighter than Peterson.Period.

We've talk about this before,oh and like I said one judge had Peterson winning..Both of the other judges scored the fight a draw..It must have been close bro..Other then the 1st and 3rd rds I really can't find another rd to give to Ortiz..He was hit with the jab relentlessly and tbh threw out the fight was eating bigger shots..Peterson imo more active cleaner puncher..

You come to that conclusion how??By Ortiz quitting in the ring??Or Ortiz being out boxed by Peterson(who he out weighed by how many pounds??)..Dude I so sick of this weight crap, dude was fighting at 140lb because he was trying to get a weight advantage..And yet was never ranked top 5 and never won a belt there..So Ortiz is the better fighter because he beat Berto??News flash Berto is not that good and tbh Collazo beat him first..Ortiz was not gassed either he was confused, once Peterson adjusted Ortiz did not have a clue..Plain and simple..

Anybody who says Ortiz didn't win that fight is either flat out hating or blind. Peterson had some good rounds but Ortiz did enough in the first half of the fight, including the knockdowns, to seal the deal. IIRC I think Ortiz even had a very good 10th round and finished the fight strong. I think Ortiz being robbed from a victory in this fight helped him out in the Berto fight where he didn't stop fighting till the last minute. The Maidana loss and Peterson draw really turned Victor into a different animal.

That doesn't matter. You know that.

2 out of the 3 judges had Willie Pastrano beating Harold Johnson. That doesn't change the fact that Johnson clealry won the fight by ATLEAST 10 rounds.

The fight was close, ish, but clear.

Had there been no KD's as opposed to 2 KD's then yeah, Peterson would have won the fight, but, unfortunately for Lamont, there was.

And to suffer 2 KD's in a 10 Round fight, you better hope you sweep the rest of the rounds if you want to win the fight. And Peterson certainly did not.
