Im from Sussex area and he is well known and respected mainly because of the Olympics, that brought him to the public being behind him almost by default. That is why he is rumoured to have been paid £100,000 by the BBC for the Kindelan return match before he had even turned pro.

People i know here in London, mostly casual boxing fans actually like Khan. It seems more north you go more haters he has and it's a race/religion thing.
There is really no reason you could want to see him get KO'd if your decent human who likes winners. He's trying be the best he can in one of the toughest sports in the world, he doesn't talk shi* and he's a unified champ. People need to back this guy!

The same is true of classless Brits who move abroad and expect everyone to cater for their English speaking needs.

I am not trying to impose racial views here. Many ******s are fine and easy to get along with, but it is the way that many ******s isolate themselves from the rest of society that has caused the growth of xenophobia in the UK. Unfortunately, many people associate all ******s with each other.
Thats just horse**** you brits tell yourselves to justify your racism. ******s Asians are as integrated as any other minority. And even if they aren't how does that affect you? It doesn't in anyway.

The fact is all minorites keep themselves to an extent. In fact, no one keeps to themselves more than the ***s. Yet, none of this makes a difference, because the racism has nothing to do with this.

Asians and ******s are generally disliked in Britain. They're disliked because they don't integrate with the British culture. Instead, they generally stick to their own race, talk Asian in public and have a religion that is frowned upon vehemently. This dislike isn't just from Whites. Blacks also generally dislike Asians too.

It's a shame but the fact remains.
Truth is as a ****** you cant really go drinking its against religion so you can see why they dont integrate as much with black people or white people but its a culture thing you cant change that. But that should not lead to rascism between asians, whites and blacks people should respect each other culture and live together in peace.

Sorry but you're an idiot, and definitely a racist. I'm not ******, but its clear you don't know what you're talking about. ******s don't want to integrate? There are thousands of ******s who are part of British society like every other minority, this has been proven by studies. In fact, the only ******s that are isolated are the ones you Brits make isolated with your racism. And integration and assimilation are two different things.

It's absurd to blame ******s for your own xenophobia, that's idiotic and a rationalisation of your own racism. But that's how your country is, and I pity it. The rise of xenophobia and racism in Britain is because you guys have a lot of RACISTS in our country, it has nothing to do with people being isolated. The ***ish community is the most closed off of all, yet I don't see any crazy Anti semetism.

In fact this proves your full of ****. Because, the same racist Anti Islam movement that is happening today, was an Anti semetic movement in Britain in the 60s. I guess the ***s deserved it because they isolated themselves? Such an idiotic rationale you present, but it really shows the racist mentality you guys have.

Ok, first of all what do you mean by integrate? Every Asian I know and I live in an area which is populated by Asians, is integrated. They only seperate when it comes to stuff like getting drunk, going to the club and stuff like that. Which you can't really blame them, most of the times bad **** goes down in these types of places. Black people don't really hate Asians either since they see Asians how they were seen by white people in the 50's.

Oh and Khan is hated by loads of White people, due to racism and due to his actions outside of the ring (the car crash, the text pic and the way he talks on twitter). Look at someone like Prince Naseem Hamed, he had his fair share of hate from White people but he had a lot of love from them as well. He was a proper character who made you laugh and kept you glued to your chair with the mindframe 'oh what is he going to do next?'. Khan isn't as charismatic as Hamed, nor is he as flashy as him but hes a damn good boxer. I know plenty of Asians who don't like Khan purely because he was given too much hype after the Olympics and he didn't really beat anyone to warrant it. He was earning millions before he became champion.

Also he boxing in Birmingham, UK and he was cheered on by all of the crowd. The Midlands, and the south generally accept him oh and Bolton of course but the North has less people of colour and they aren't really as accepting.

Yea, but many do drink, and that has nothing to do with the racism. The fact of the matter is most of them are quite intergrated, but not necessarily assimilated. Why can they not preserve their culture like people do in the US?

And it's no excuse for racism. The same racist groups BNP, or the EDL, were targetting the ***s in the UK during the 60s and 70s, because many Brits are largely racists. It's a bit of a racist nation, especially outside of the cities. Yea you live in London, where its a lot better. But the fact is ********** have very little power in the UK, unlike the US. These brits on this thread are all idiots trying to justify racism, " well its the mooosleems fault for not integrating!" Most ****** and racist thing I've heard in a while.

And the thing about Europe? The depend of immigration, because they have declining and aging populations. Without immigration European economy would collapse, and they're going to depend more and more on immigrants. So let them b!tch and moan all they want, but their countries are going to keep on getting more asians and more ******s.

In fact, you know what the most common name for a new born baby in the Uk was in 2010? I **** you not, it was Mohammed.

LOL and thats exactly my point everyone has their own culture just because ******s culture is different it doesnt mean they should change and it dont mean there isolating themselves. Respect everyone and what they believe in and the world will be a better place.

True. No one with a brain would defend or justify racism. But when ever the economy hits the crapper in Europe, their racist tendencies flare up. Happens every time. Racism and anti immigration, anti multiculturalism provides refuge for poor ignorant people, it has nothing to do with what ******s are doing themselves.

The BBC did a study where they sent out the exact same resume around the country, and they used different names, a few with ****** ones and a few with Christian ones, and results were staggering. If you had a ****** name you were ten times less likely to be called for an interview. A lot of the isolation of ******s as nothing to do with their lack of desire to integrate, its all about the countries lack of desire for them to integrate.

It's ridiculous to say anyone cares about their lack of integration, the fact is you'll never be considered a real Brit if you're not white. Asif Mahdvi of the Daily Show actually used to live in Britain, and he moved to the US and he said the exact samething.

I actually used to live in London a long time ago, and moved to the US, and I'm so glad for it. Anyone can be an American. Although, London is different, it's certainly a cool city. Europeans are afraid of their countries changing, they're not prepared for that, that's where their racism comes from.
