And England is one of the better places for immigrants in Europe, but at its heart, its still quite a racist place. Unfortunately, that's how most European nations are like, and thats why I'm glad I moved to the US from the UK. Ultimately, if you're not white, you'll never truly be considered British, or European.

US really is the greatest country when you consider how integrated ********** are, and relatively how little prejudice there is here. Not to say there aren't big problems here, but its a culture of integration.

Europeans are indigenous to their country and are entrenched in their cultures, so its not surprising they don't like immigrants. But the US is an immigrant country, so they are much more open.

This is an interesting thread indeed.

      I'm from Worcerstershire.

It doesn't really matter where in England you're from, the majority of the English dislike Khan because he's Asian/******.

Asians and ******s are generally disliked in Britain. They're disliked because they don't integrate with the British culture. Instead, they generally stick to their own race, talk Asian in public and have a religion that is frowned upon vehemently. This dislike isn't just from Whites. Blacks also generally dislike Asians too.

It's a shame but the fact remains.

Now this is what I have been saying!! Someone who knows the truth! Someone who recognises the reason why they are disliked rather than just blindly calling whites racists.

I have not met a true boxing fan that hates Khan though. Most people who say Khan is a overrated and want him to get knocked out, don't really follow the sport to closely.

Khan is not the sharpest tool in the shed and said some ****** things, but he is quite humble and honnest nice guy and comes across well interviews.

You can't but help admire his dedication to be the best, after a KO that could have ruined him.

When you hear people say he is arrogant and ****y, they clearly have an agenda against him

You judge people as individuals not by their religion or race.

If someone is disliking Khan or anyone because of their religion or race then it is racist.

If you read my posts then you will realise Khan is one of my favorite fighters and I have been highly critical of those who dislike Khan because of his race. You will see that I have said Khan is down to earth and really does not give people any reasons to dislike him. All I have pointed out is that there is a reason why people dislike ******s in general. Unfortunately people tar all ******s with the same brush.

I was wandering if people from other regions of the UK could tell me what the generally feeling about him as a fighter is in their region?
silly northern monkeys always behave like that towards khan because hes asian,he should move down south and he would be fine, too much bollocks up north with small minded people

Well ******s generally do not integrate with people belonging to different ethnic origins. This is not just because other people don't like them, it is also because many of them don't want to integrate. And as for the talking asian in public, it is pretty disrespectful to be honest and it does happen. If you live here, speak English, it is rude not to. The same is true of classless Brits who move abroad and expect everyone to cater for their English speaking needs.

I am not trying to impose racial views here. Many ******s are fine and easy to get along with, but it is the way that many ******s isolate themselves from the rest of society that has caused the growth of xenophobia in the UK. Unfortunately, many people associate all ******s with each other.

I know ******s that are idiots and some that I get on with, it takes more than religion to make someone who they are.

I'm not saying you are doing this, but don't defend people who are too thick to realise this.

It funny when you get some people who say Khan is just like Hamed, their boxing styles and personalities totally different.

Hamed was a great entertaining boxer, but his attitude and personality gave people a lot of reason to dislike him though.
