Interracial dating is massive in the UK, everyone is ***ing everyone, regardless of race.

And long may it continue, I love all colour women, black, brown, white, orange, blue, green it doesnt matter to me.

On topic though I'm from Billingham, NE England and I cant say I've noticed any sort of racism towards him.
But then I hang out with a group of people who feel the same way as me, that he's English, representing us the correct way, and a northerner.
Real proud of our Amir, and anyone who thought that way wouldnt be a friend of mine, ****in idiots who wouldnt say ish to his face.

I didn't read everyone's posts but seems my fellow Northerner's don't like Khan. Which I find interesting to read. But here's my Manchester view. I like Khan as a fighter, he seem's grounded and driven in what he want's to achieve, has the skills and talent to go to the top and is going for it. I mean, he can come across a bit arrogant but which boxer isn't.

And the people I hang around with and know, they aren't hardcore boxing fans by any means but they all like Khan and want to know how he's done, when he's fighting etc. Some even stay up with me to watch his fights. Not everyone I know is northern either, people from all around the country (since just finished uni). Most people like him and want him to do well.

That's my take on it anyway, I never thought his race was that much of a problem in the UK till I read this thread.

Regardless of how you percieve a person to be, what religion or race he is, his acts or what eva he does, You should judge people as individuals, in other words SEE WHO THE PERSON IS FROM INSIDE not the outside, and give him a chance. We are all human, and in every race there will be the good and the bad. I feel this world would be a much better place if people were treated or seen for who they really are. Finally, in boxing there should never be factors of race or religion, a boxer should be recognized of his abilities and skill.

LOL and thats exactly my point everyone has their own culture just because ******s culture is different it doesnt mean they should change and it dont mean there isolating themselves. Respect everyone and what they believe in and the world will be a better place.

A ****** or a person of any race,religion or creed should assimilate into the country they have chosen to live in, not try to change the country to suit there own religion/agender. I live up North and i am sick and tired of people throwing around the race card.

The problem is: English people never got asked would they like to live in a multicultural society, it got forced upon us by successive governments.

Well ******s generally do not integrate with people belonging to different ethnic origins. This is not just because other people don't like them, it is also because many of them don't want to integrate. And as for the talking asian in public, it is pretty disrespectful to be honest and it does happen. If you live here, speak English, it is rude not to. The same is true of classless Brits who move abroad and expect everyone to cater for their English speaking needs.

I am not trying to impose racial views here. Many ******s are fine and easy to get along with, but it is the way that many ******s isolate themselves from the rest of society that has caused the growth of xenophobia in the UK. Unfortunately, many people associate all ******s with each other.

Alot of the dislike of Asians in the UK by white people stems from the success of Asians economically, socially and educationally. We all know how many Asians are running the NHS as physicians and how many Asian businessmen are employing white people and paying massive taxes. Asians make up a tiny fraction of the UK population but control a disproportionate ammount of commerce in the UK aswell as professional jobs, Not just that Asians almost never go to prison that tends to be mostly whites and blacks.

Successful Asians with your suits, briefcases, blackberry phones, good jobs and sports cars get out! You make us lazy white people who expect handouts look bad!
