Alot of the dislike of Asians in the UK by white people stems from the success of Asians economically, socially and educationally. We all know how many Asians are running the NHS as physicians and how many Asian businessmen are employing white people and paying massive taxes. Asians make up a tiny fraction of the UK population but control a disproportionate ammount of commerce in the UK aswell as professional jobs, Not just that Asians almost never go to prison that tends to be mostly whites and blacks.

Successful Asians with your suits, briefcases, blackberry phones, good jobs and sports cars get out! You make us lazy white people who expect handouts look bad!

This is just not true. ******s represent a far higher percentage in UK prisons, something in the region of 15% of all prisioners are ******. This is extremely high and it is over twice the national average.

Packi ******s are generally unskilled and extremely poor. Indians and Africans are the backbone of the NHS and i have to say every-time I've visited the hospital they have been the most dedicated and respectful individuals I've ever met

QFT. I'm sick of being called racist for stating the truth. Not once have I said anything racist and have said Khan is one of my favorite fighters. This wouldn't be the case if I was racist. As I and others have said, many (not all) asians are too quick to play the race card and people object to that. We as a country are expected to adapt to their culture while many of them make no effort to adapt to ours. Yet again, we see morons on this forum with a lack of intelligence playing the racist card.

Britain has always been open and tolerant to other cultures. Immigration has always happened, but it has happened in much fewer numbers and over a much longer time period. What we see now in England has come about by mass immigration over a short time, which is unprecedented in our History.

Multiculturalism has failed. The open door policy has changed Britain forever and it is clear to see not for the better.

It doesn't really matter where in England you're from, the majority of the English dislike Khan because he's Asian/******.

Asians and ******s are generally disliked in Britain. They're disliked because they don't integrate with the British culture. Instead, they generally stick to their own race, talk Asian in public and have a religion that is frowned upon vehemently. This dislike isn't just from Whites. Blacks also generally dislike Asians too.

It's a shame but the fact remains.

Now this is what I have been saying!! Someone who knows the truth! Someone who recognises the reason why they are disliked rather than just blindly calling whites racists.

Well ******s generally do not integrate with people belonging to different ethnic origins. This is not just because other people don't like them, it is also because many of them don't want to integrate. And as for the talking asian in public, it is pretty disrespectful to be honest and it does happen. If you live here, speak English, it is rude not to. The same is true of classless Brits who move abroad and expect everyone to cater for their English speaking needs.

I am not trying to impose racial views here. Many ******s are fine and easy to get along with, but it is the way that many ******s isolate themselves from the rest of society that has caused the growth of xenophobia in the UK. Unfortunately, many people associate all ******s with each other.

Im not sure how old any of you are. But for decades, since the 60's, when Asian and black families were immigrating here, white English people treated them like *****. Of course not all of them, but racism was totally acceptable. Verbal abuse, employment discrimination and violent attacks happened all the time.

On one hand they say Britain is a tolerant society, but on the other, they dont like it when they speak their own language, or dress differently, or practice their own religion. Thats incredibly hypocritical.
Either you are tolerant and respectful of other cultures, or you are not.

Asian people today dont want to have to dress, and speak like the English in order to not get abuse. They have put up with so much hostility in the past, its no wonder they dont want to integrate.

The EDL always existed in England, but it went by other names. NF, BNP. Before racism was directed at blacks and Asians, it was the Irish that were abused.
The government is too scared to be seen as intolerant, and ur right, we are way too politically correct, but British culture should be all about multiculturism, since the british Empire was built by conquering foreign lands.

As someone who lives in the UK, you should realise that that in the UK there are far more people belonging to the nation of islam than in the US. People object to ******s because of double standards in the UK and the fact that we *****-foot around ethnic **********. Laws in the UK exacerbate racism. I don't claim to know that much about the US, but I'm sure their laws regarding issues about race are not as *******. It angers many people that those belonging to Islam play the race card for many issues regarding race.

Firstly ‘The Nation of Islam’ and Islam are two totally different things, The Nation of Islam is an African American religious movement founded in 1930 so no there are not more Nation of Islam members in the UK that America in fact its quite the opposite.

It is also untrue that there are more ******s in the UK than the U.S that is pure speculation on your part the latest figures I could find show there are around 2,869,000 ******s in the UK 4.6% of the population. There are no accurate figures showing the amount of ******s in America but the figure is believed to be over 7 million.

The only reason a lot of people in western society don’t like ******s is due to the demonization of there religion and culture in the mass western media which constantly shows us its blatant double standards. You say they play the race card? Well you can be ****** and any race so that doesn’t really wash.

The EDL in my eyes have to be commended for what they are trying to achieve in Blackpool. They have vowed to do a rally/march every year on the Easter bank holiday until the police re-open the Charlene Downes case. The girl was groomed by local ****** kebab owners, killed, chopped up and put into the kebabs. The local police botched the investigation and the killers walk free.

I grew up in California (bay area) and now live in Surrey in England...so I would say I am in a pretty good position to give a sound opinion on the debate:

First off England is infinitely more racist as a society then the West side of the US, I stress the West side because that is where I have spent most of my time. The people who say the US is way better integrated are accurate, England is light years behind in that sense, but England is definitely miles ahead of the rest of Europe. I am Indian, and can only comment on every day life, in the States race is a non-issue really, there is so many different immigrants from all over the world, I go to Vegas quite a bit and feel the difference straight away. In England I do feel the underlying racism that exists everyday, it is there...whether it is in your face or not is a different story. I think in Britain we have done a good job on clamping down on it, especially in sport, but it is in-built in the thinking, people are just better at not talking about it in public. I would like to stress that 90% of my mates are white

On to Amir Khan: I think most people around my area don't like him, and can't really give me a good reason, which leads me to believe it is mostly based on his success and race. One of my mates changes his reason so he can continually dislike him, ie. first it was because there was too much hype, then it was because he was crap, then it was because he got gifted a world title, and now that he is doing well it is because he is arrogant. I was in a pub the other day and they were interviewing him, and I heard a group of middle age white guys talking, and I caught a little bit of the convo and the basic jist of it was that they were starting to respect what he is currently doing, they were talking about how good the fight with the "hispanic" guy was (maidana), and then discussed Judah and saying "he was old wasn't he", and one of them jumped in and said "yeah but he was a world champion". So I think he is slowly starting to win people over around here, but sadly even if he beat mayweather people in England would still hate him. In the US...if you are good it doesn't matter where you come from people will respect you and eventually love you. Even Floyd will get universal love...eventually.
