this is probably the 2nd best opponent for Floyd in the division...Manny being hands down the best opponent for Floyd..PERIOD!!...but this Vic-Floyd scrap has some flavor to it...Vic got fire in BOTH guns and his confidence is sky high...that makes him VERY dangerous....Floyd is pushing 34...plus he'll have been on the sidelines for more than a year and breeze...Floyd hasn't taken no serious punishment as far as we know but who knows if he's lost a step or 2?...and if he's slowed down...is it enough for Vic to catch him slippin'?!?....like I said, this fight has got alot of flavor

I got Floyd by TKO late....around the 9th or 10th Floyd should have disected the young lion enough to cause the corner to wave the flag....but Vic will start strong and cause Floyd some problems early....he'll try to impose his will and when he finds out Floyd is no push-over for bully fighters....Floyd be putting some mean ass whippings on those type of cats...so once Vic gets touched up and switches up...its a rap!!....he's too mentally immature in boxing years imo to implement the right game plan to defeat one of the most talented boxers of my lifetime...naw...but he can land that Tarver type shot that caught Roy while he was slippin'.....Vic has a punchers chance for about 4 or 5 rounds....then its one way traffic...a Floyd Mayweather highlight reel party

It's the best fight to be made at 147 outside of Pacman-Floyd period. It thoroughly dominates Pacman's last 3 fights, that's for sure.

I think Ortiz is gonna pull the upset.I know Floyd is a gym rat but this time he chose probably the most dangerous fighter he's fought at 147.I'll be wanting odds closer to fight time.

          Pushing 34? He is 34.

          Good post, though.

            Ortiz too inexperienced for Floyd

no doubt he's got heart, but it'll be all over Gatti (RIP) again

the right fight for floyd. and a great opportunity for ortiz, even though he will get beat.

haters are going to struggle finding something to hate about this matchup.

Tasty fight. Best one available at this weight. Far better than Pacs last 3 fights by a country mile.

I LOVE this fight but ur ******ity is making me wanna b1tch about it. If anyone is "left overs" then ortiz is madiana's "left overs" AND lamont peterson's "left overs". I'm no expert in "kitchen slang" but I do know it makes u look ******ed when u use terms like that. Think BEFORE u speak, and we'll all get along a little better. Dela hoya was mosley left overs, jmm was pac left overs, judah was baldo left overs....this isn't "refrigerator talk time". We talk about boxing here, why don't u join us
