It's a legti fight for Mayweather against the highest ranked fighter in his weight class who doesn't have a fight signed.

Mayweather will have a few issues in the firsr few rounds then will adjust as always and dominate.

Ortiz' lack of jab will be a huge problem for him. Along with a list of other things.

      Biggest fight of the year.

Floyd should TKO him some time before the 10th.

You know what the big question with Ortiz is how he handles himself mentally. He is a fighter with a tremendous amount of talent but when he has struggled it was largely due to him breaking down mentally. In the Maidana fight he admitted that he got caught up in a frenzy of "I can knock him out, I can knock him out" and did not follow the game plan his trainers set out for him. Against Peterson he seemed to get frustrated that he couldn't get him out of there after the two knockdowns and just wore down mentally as the fight went on.

Against Berto, it was a different story. I'm not sure why or how the light went on, but he fought through a tremendous amount of adversity in that fight and kept his head on straight the entire time. Against Floyd he is going to face the must frustrating fighter he will have ever faced. Will he be able to keep it together, or we he become frustrated and lose focus?

It's a legit, great fight for Floyd. He's fighting a hungry fighter in his prime. Once Floyd whoops Ortiz's ass, he should just go for Martinez next. Fuck Pac. Pac is always going to be Assrum's bottom bitch whiile fighting Floyd's leftovers. I used to love seeing Pac fight but I can't anymore because of his team greediness. His past three circus fights have me disillusioned with the guy.

To be honest, I think that is because those fighters have a style and gameplan and try and use it.

Berto, doesn't even have a style or kind of gameplan. He just goes in there and does whatever and usually trys to land one big punch.

I think Ortiz will be mentally prepared for this fight but Mayweather will just take him to school after the 4th round.

You could very well be right. I was shocked at how pitiful Berto's corner was in the Ortiz fight. You had his trainer trying to talk to him but then at the same time his brother or cousin or whatever lackey that was talking BS into his ear at the same time. It just seemed like a total cluster ****.

Stylistically it's a great fight. The thing is though, in order for it to be a great fight, Ortiz has to come motivated. I wanna see another Hatton/Corley type of fight because I want to see Floyd fight back. I want to see the glimpses of the Pretty Boy that kept me entertained for years. In this fight, if Ortiz is motivated it's possible that it can be FoTY. Ortiz will have his moments and Mayweather will have no other choice but to respond. We'll be seeing the best of Mayweather and possibly Ortiz in this fight.

I'm expect Floyd to stop him somewhere in the 10th. Ortiz is gonna get hit with tons of straight right hands in this fight.

                  great fight.

                  floyd is finally coming back!

i think floyd wins a decision by a large margin.

I just can't see Ortiz brining out the best in Mayweather.

Mayweather will put on a show, though.
