just look at the skills and what Ortiz brings to the table and ignore that fluke Maidana fight
Now we just are getting carried away. Bradley beats Ortiz, pretty handily too.

Ortiz fought the wrong way that night

that fight was a Fluke because Ortiz beats Maidana 9 out of 10 times

he got dragged into a war and was forced to quit...yea, it was a fluke

I disagree at 147 Ortiz would be the favorite against Bradley

he didn't get dragged in **** that's how Ortiz fought every fight and he ran into another puncher and couldn't adjust. post Maidana fight Ortiz started to box more and added a lot more to his game Marcos can't do that against against Ortiz so YES it was a fluke

a fluke is landing a lucky punch or getting a gift decision...neither happened in the Maidana fight...he got his ass kicked and quit

Ortiz is a good fighter, im a big fan and will be rooting for him but let's not start dusting his flaws under the carpet

Ortiz might give some trouble the first couple rounds, but mayweather will dominate and school him. I wouldnt even be surprised if Mayweather came out to make a statement and dusted off his ringrust with a KO. Strike the fear into Pac and *******s throughout the world! hopefully this will be an entertaining and interesting fight, with no damage to Floyd whatsoever.
I think Pac vs JMM will be even better however, since JMM has the key to success against Pac, and I cant wait to see Pac lose again.

You're an idiot if you think it was a fluke. It was a fight FFS and a fight that he lost fairly. Losses happen in boxing. If you make mistakes you lose, simple as. Luck doesnt come into it.

Unless Ortiz does something big early like hurt Floyd or drop him I see it going the same way a bunch of Floyd fights do...especially with the layoff...

Feeling out for the early rounds and Floyd starts capitalizing off of Ortiz's mistakes, and Victor starts getting discouraged...I don't know if Floyd can take him back to that dark place where Maidana took him though...

Ortiz may have had a huge win over Berto but he hasn't forgot about the Maidana loss and if this fight gets really tough we'll see if he really is a new Victor Ortiz...
