I like to take into account skills too but I mean a lot of people rank Langford & Burley really high because they were ducked by a lot of people but when your ducker I can't really have no sympathy for him.
Well that has nothing to do with anything inside the ring, all of those cases f him ducking can be countered anyway. Cases can be made for Hopkins ducking certain fighters, Winky at middleweight, Jones rematch (at the right time), whether true or not it shouldn't effect his ATG standing.

People rank Burley and Langford high because they have awesome resumes.

I still think you can rate Floyds resume over Bhop, Bhop reigned in a poor division. I never said Floyd didn't display his skills against real competition and if I did that would be a flat-out lie because he did...

Hopkins didn't retire twice and comeback and fight smaller fighters in Marquez or Hatton. He retired, came back and won the Light Heavyweight title. I don't think that era of middleweight was that bad. Jones Jr's light heavyweight division wasn't nothing special either.

I don't think using the whole 'smaller men' argument against Mayweather whilst supporting Hopkins can really co-exist, to be honest.

Hatton wasn't smaller than Mayweather and was a good win, its better than Hopkins win over Winky or Pavlik.Yup it was a good accomplishment for Hopkins no denying that. Whats Jones Jr's light-heavy division got to do with anything? Floyd faced beat better contenders than Hopkins, he has the better foundation of work after the glossy wins.

Whitaker quite clearly and is not even close.

Wlad would be on the bottom of that list.

Bhop, Lineal middleweight champion for all those years, not just some alphabet title he was the very best in the division, he then wins the light heavyweight championship.........TWICE, the 2nd time he was/is 46 years old, the oldest champion in the history of the sport.

Trust me, years from now when each of the listed fighter are spoken about when it comes to all time greatness this man will be above these other fighters, a specimen of a man.

And I'm not hating of the other fighters either but c'mon, it speaks for itself
